Global Data Products team has a global footprint and focuses on driving a company more data driven decision by helping each employees to be able to transform data into information using various data products and solutions offered by the team on various Business intelligence platforms.

 As a Director of the team that focuses on internal data products and solutions, you will lead the training strategy by managing the training programs, overseeing all training activities and contents. You will also lead in the creating of training programs and materials, This role demands the ability to work collaboratively as well as independently, while handling multiple projects and find the best ways to enhance our training programs make a large number of Visa employees being able to create insights using our data and tools.

You will leverage analysis of ongoing programs in order to ensure that quality training is provided to business departments and that there is a constant improvement in training programs and initiatives. You are required to work closely and in collaboration with various department heads and employees in developing unique and effective training solutions specific to the different functions.

What you will do:

• Develop and drive “training strategy” by assessing end-users’ needs through various assessment methods, such as surveys, focus groups, meeting with various functional leads
• Design training regimes to help Visa employees overcome data literacy
• Foster a culture of leaning about data and various BI tools within the company
• Apply new ways to help end-users better develop and harness their knowledge on various BI products that the team offer
• Develop an evaluation mechanism of trainings offered to Visa employees
• Actively seek for new approaches to teaching the desired skills
• Design more effective teaching practices
• Recognize new issues and tailor training programs as necessary

What you will bring:

• Strong interpersonal and leadership behaviors
• Strong organizational skills to manage the needs of each Visa employee and which training techniques best suit the functional needs.
• An inquisitive mind to constantly watching for new ways to access and teach new knowledge and skills to end-users
• Strong customer and personal service oriented skills, including user needs assessment, evaluation of satisfaction and ensuring quality standards of service
• Prior experience in MicroStrategy, Tableau, Semantic layer, Databases, and payment data

A few cherries on top:

• A prior experience as trainer or similar experience
• A working knowledge on both traditional and non-traditional Business intelligence products, data products, data platforms, etc.
• A working knowledge on Visual storytelling, such as PowerPoint design
