Job Description

Position Summary 

Client Marketing is focused on working with Client Banks and Merchants, cooperatively developing marketing strategy, planning and implementation of co-marketing campaigns that demonstrate and deliver value of Visa products, services and marketing capabilities. The Director of Client Marketing India and South Asia, reports to the Head of Marketing India and South Asia and jointly will be working directly with key Clients : India and South Asia (I&SA)  market Issuers and key Merchants in identifying joint marketing opportunities, developing and implementing programs, and measuring ROI outcomes. They will drive transactions on Visa products, enhance Visa brand equity, build Client relationships and grow revenues for Visa I&SA region.

Responsibilities

 Planning for Bank and Merchant Marketing Programs

  • Implement marketing initiatives for key client’s plans aligning with specific country and client business objectives. 
  • Develop and execute integrated issuer, merchant, and/or cross border client marketing plans including but not limited to insight development, advertising, promotions, sponsorship events, co-creating marketing campaign, measurements, and media engagement.
  • Provide Client value through Visa Marketing capabilities, including research data, VisaNet Data, consumer insights, card payment trends, best practice sharing and competitive analysis in planning and supporting recommendations.  Work with Global Client Sales team to identify value add opportunities through research and analytics and utilization of Visa Marketing capabilities and sponsorships assets
  • Develop investment business cases and evaluate program performance against set KPIs Ensure Client Marketing plans are clearly documented, aligned with and communicated to all stakeholders.

·Implementing and Measurement

  • Where Visa is implementing, manage and/or brief creative, media, and/or third party agencies and suppliers to ensure delivery of marketing programs. Support Clients with feedback and marketing advice on Client portfolio programs that Visa is supporting.
  • Manage budget, forecasts, production and payments to Clients and Third party suppliers and media costs.
  • Work closely with Analytics to measure effectiveness of campaign investment and formulate plans to adjust/ improve where necessary.
  • Comply with all Finance, Legal, Risk and Audit requirements for Visa and merchant partners including CMS Contracts, Invoice Processing and completion certificates. Accurate financial forecasting

Collaboration

  • Strong Collaboration with Product, Country Management, Business Development, Merchant Sales & Solutions, Insights, and Analytics teams, and client marketing hub team in Singapore
  • Provide Marketing consulting assistance to Business Development Team and direct with Clients [local and global banks] and merchants.
  • Preparing Client sell in decks
  • Work closely and seamlessly with Client Cards teams

Qualifications

Professional

  • 10 - 12 years of work experience
  • Knowledge and skills in payment card products and services, bank’s card portfolio management, customer lifecycle management, loyalty program management, rewards platform is preferable
  • Proven skills in developing marketing strategy and annual planning
  • Experience in managing Marketing KPIs and return on investment analysis
  • Should have had experience in developing advertising, Digital and social media planning
