Job Description

Overview

As part of the U.S. Client Marketing team, the marketing manager will be responsible for developing the strategy and executing marketing campaigns to drive the engagement with Visa’s regional and community issuer clients, particularly the work-stream of Visa Campaign Solutions (VCS), an end-to-end marketing platform that enables Visa’s Financial Institution clients develop, deploy and analyze data-driven marketing strategies in a multi-channel environment across the customer lifecycle - new customer acquisition, new customer activation or onboarding, and card usage. VCS brings together expertise, resources, and scale to increase the effectiveness of marketing strategies and campaigns as measured through return on investment (ROI).   The manager will work closely with the cross functional teams including Marketing, Sales, Technology, Finance, Products, Operations, Legal to support the planning, strategy, execution and measurement of the campaigns.

Responsibilities:

The Marketing Manager position will support the marketing initiatives for Visa’s regional and community issuer clients, including the implementation and the strategic evolution of the Visa Campaign Solutions (VCS) Platform. The Platform is a turn-key, omni-channel marketing solution offering full-service B2C marketing execution, on behalf of Visa’s clients, for the purposes of business growth and optimization across Visa payments products.

  • Manage marketing projects end-to-end (e.g., develop project plan, brief with agencies, develop creatives with agencies, align with clients, measure results, etc) with limited supervisory support

  • Manage relationships with internal (Marketing, Sales, Technology, Finance, Products, Operations, Legal, etc) and external stakeholders (clients, creative/media/sweepstakes admin agencies, etc) throughout the campaign process

  • Leverage industry and Visa data, market research, key learnings, and best practices to add value and deliver relevant insights and recommendations to the clients

  • Assist in defining project scope and strategically shape the way we support the clients’ and Visa’s key priorities

  • Support budget forecasting and management

  • Manage ad hoc requests from key stakeholders, e.g., clients, Visa senior leadership, etc

Qualifications

Education/Experience/Skills

We seek experienced, proactive, high-achieving professionals to build marketing solutions for our clients. Specific requirements are:

  • Education: Bachelor's Degree required. MBA or other relevant Master's degree preferred.

  • 8+ years business experience, with majority in marketing or consulting roles that involved project management, marketing or business strategy, product launches or planning

  • Experience with issuers marketing and/or payment industry and/or client service experiences preferred

  • Strong executive presence and is comfortable leading discussions with clients

  • Strong analytical skills and feel comfortable with numbers

  • Strong written and in-person communication skills

  • Team player with experience coordinating cross functional, end-to-end projects that included a high level of detail and ability to ensure project deadlines and budgets are met

  • Self-motivated. Proactive in asking questions and proposing solutions

  • Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office Excel, Power Point and Word

  • Willingness to travel – less than 10% of the time
