In the Marketing Team our ambition is to have an impact in the way marketing is being done both on-line and off-line. We use data as the fuel to develop insights-driven marketing initiatives that maintain our brand relevant with the consumer and support our business.

This role will manage projects in social media as it relates to paid media for the European Region reporting to the Senior Director, Digital Marketing Europe.

The successful candidate will deeply understand the changing media landscape as it relates to social media and is equally adept planning and integrating social against digital and traditional channels, has media agency experience (working at and/or managing) and is driven to create breakthrough work. The key to this job is having a strong strategic mindset, unparalleled digital acumen, amazing communication skills, and the passion to execute flawlessly.

 

What we expect of you, day to day.

  • You will develop the media strategy for social media
  • You will maintain overview of regional and local budgets as it relates to social media spend by partner
  • You will work closely with the local markets providing campaign support, management, and optimisation throughout the Visa Europe network, endeavouring to break down silos and work together as "One Visa"
  • You will be the liaison with media agency for social buys
  • You will implement and optimize use of PMD
  • You will maintain media efficiencies and update benchmarks
  • Everyone is a leader at Visa, and you will lead development of best practices, training, guidelines for internal (Visa team) and external (clients and marketing partners) constituents, sharing your subject matter expertise and acting in a mentorship capacity where appropriate
  • You will leverage partners / partnerships and ensure local markets realize the benefits

Qualifications

What we're after...

  • A passion for Fintech, and in particular payments
  • Degree (or equivalent) in business, marketing, finance, economics, or similar field required;
  • Mid-level manager with experience of client or agency side media planning focus
  • Strong analytical and data management skills
  • Understand how media impacts a consumer's circuitous decision journey (from awareness, consideration, conversion, advocacy)
  • Must be able to handle a wide variety of projects simultaneously
  • Strong communication skills, must be able to tell a story based on data
  • Teamwork & interpersonal skills
