What's it all about?

The Senior Manager, Debit & ATM within Core Products & Segments is responsible for both managing ATM product within Europe through utilising HQ assets, capturing and delivering future European ATM client needs, developing and evolving the roadmap for ATM, as well as managing specific aspects of the Visa Debit product suite.

This role works across the suite of 'ready funds' solutions that Visa offers Debit, Prepaid and ATM. The role focuses on the development and evolution of ATM, with an emphasis on developing and growing our share of the ATM market through superior product development as well as managing a complex product that requires a strong individual to influence and guide Visa's role in ATM. Considering the regulatory complexity of the European, and in particular, UK ATM market requires a strong strategic mind-set to define Visa's actions in this area.

In addition, the role holder will be responsible for specific cross-functional product projects to develop and manage the ready funds suite of products. These responsibilities will primarily lie within the debit product, owning and managing specific projects to research, define and build an appropriate response to identified market requirements, including managing the budget for those projects.

In carrying out this role, the jobholder will need to develop many key stakeholder touchpoints, including Clusters, HQ Global product team, Innovation, Strategy, IT, Brand, Rules and Regulatory teams.

What we expect of you, day to day.

  • Develop and iterate an overarching Visa ATM Product strategy to ensure that Visa's cash and ATM offering evolves to meet future Client and Consumer needs.
  • Define and lead the role of ATM within the wider ready funds strategy, articulating how ATM delivers against Visa's wider strategic objectives in overall market expansion and growth. Develop appropriate ways of ensuring ATM growth plans can be delivered as part of this wider strategic approach. Considering the political aspects to Visa's role within ATM and define an appropriate approach to ensure we can achieve our objectives.
  • Enable, through the appropriate assessment, a strategy, product roadmap and define and lead any required technical or partnership requirements to meet the identified needs of youth and young people for Debit and current accounts.
  • Lead the ongoing assessment and represent the team for any rule and process changes within the Debit and ATM team. Where required, challenge redundant or bureaucratic process, enabling change on behalf of the organisation.
  • Assess the VISA ATM offer against incumbent service providers to identify gaps and differentiation opportunities. Use strong commercial acumen to deliver an appropriate and competitive product solution.
  • Work with the Global product team to identify and develop ATM and Debit product enhancements, and support roll out of new product offerings and functionality into Europe Region
  • Provide RfP support for Debit and ATM deals in key target markets. Use strong commercial acumen to deliver an appropriate and competitive product solution

  • Have significant experience in the ATM, Payments and/or Retail Banking industry.
  • Be educated to degree level or hold an equivalent professional qualification.
