Team Description
In order for Visa to deliver on the version of the best way to pay be paid for everyone, everywhere, the Operations & Infrastructure team must provide best-in-class infrastructure services that are secure, scalable, continuously available, and run on software-defined infrastructures. The O&I team is charged with building, operating, and maintaining secure and reliable data centers, systems and networks to support the business functionality that Visa provides to payment industry stakeholders.

Job Description
Support the buildout of the ITDR Central System for the management of application recovery data reflecting the establishment of application recovery requirements, management of recovery plan and exercise data, and the overall management finding and exceptions reflecting gaps in recovery requirements. Core objective of the ITDR Central System is to manage application risk and associated the application data is outage/incident, call center, and capacity data.
Specific work efforts are required in the following areas:
Requirements gathering, validation, and estimation
Design software components
Coding & other development activities.
Write and perform unit testing
Perform peer and remote code reviews
Correct defects and support QA activities
Promotion of Integration
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering or related year-for-year experience. Preference to Master Degree in Computer Science
Application developer/software engineer experience
Java/Ruby on Rails experience
Experience developing, deploying, and supporting web-based applications
Experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Ajax, jQuery
Experience with UI frameworks such as Bootstrap & Angular JS
Experience with MySQL database design and development
Experience with creating and consuming Rest and SOAP Services
