Job Description

The Global Small Business Product team has overall responsibility for global strategy, development and management for Visa’s small business products in addition to associated partnerships and advocacy initiatives. This includes maintaining leadership for Visa in our core product solutions, advancing them into new markets and driving innovations that capture additional small business payment flows.  Committed to helping small businesses across the global thrive, the team is also charged with leading Visa’s segment advocacy strategies and activations that inform business owners and address their unique pain points.

The Manager, Global Small Business Product will play a central role in advancing our Small Business strategy in key-growth segments for Visa. Using a broad skill-set, the candidate will support initiatives vital to the Small Business team including growth initiatives enhance the core business strategy. As part of these efforts, the candidate will be instrumental in leading innovations that drive new payment flows, product evolution and growth. As a product manager for Global Small Business, this role will be directly focused on product strategy, roadmap and product feature/functionality.  In addition, the role involves working with the extended Visa Small Business Global and Regional teams to identify gaps and new requirements for deploying solutions to market that meet issuer and small business needs.  Additionally, this individual will have a highly visible role in driving new and innovative products. 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Work with Visa teams and partners to create new payment products that result in net new incremental revenue
  • Manage product lifecycle for products including business requirement creation, working with tech teams and partners to create technical requirements, create training materials and support on-going product enhancements
  • Collaborate to develop a 5-year vision for Visa Small Business, with necessary enhancements and development requirements identified to differentiate Visa’s products, close product gaps (where they may exist) and drive innovation
  • Aligns with product delivery and client delivery teams in Visa’s global regions to deliver best-in-class go-to-market for new products and enhancements
  • Work with internal and external partners to drive core strategy and negotiate offers that create value for our small business card holders
  • Own key features of the Small Business product roadmap and become new payment flow subject matter expert
  • Responsible to execute on segment and product strategies to drive PV and revenue goals for the Global SME line of business
  • Develop a deep expertise in all Visa Small Business products to demonstrate industry leadership across small business products (including market-driven knowledge)

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience
  • Strong business acumen and a global mindset
  • Ability to coordinate cross-functional teams including technical and non-technical resources
  • Strong results-oriented focus; analytic and fact-based consultative discipline
  • Add value by insightful and thoughtful questioning, offering new ideas, and delivering solutions
  • Team oriented, collaborative, diplomatic, highly organized and flexible, with excellent presentation skills, including strong oral and writing capabilities
  • Ability to work with leading industry partners and negotiate effectively to achieve desired outcome
  • Able to work independently in a matrixed environment
