The Consumer Products team, within Visa’s Product organization, uses Visa’s highly valuable data and technology to drive loyalty & commerce for merchants and issuers across the globe.  This groups flagship products include - The Visa Commerce Network (VCN), which allows consumers to earn real-time rewards (e.g. -  Uber credits) for shopping or dining at participating merchants, as well as the Visa Offers Platform (VOP) and Visa Loyalty Platform Services (VLPS).  Together these products power the most popular card-linked loyalty programs and promotions across the globe.

As Head of Loyalty (North America) you will oversee sales, implementation, and account management for all card-linked loyalty products in region.  This includes but not limited to (VCN), (VOP), and (VLPS).  In the course of delivering results to clients you will partner with the Global Loyalty Product team to ensure in-market loyalty programs/promotions scale and contain the features Visa’s clients need to attract & retain customers

 

Job Description

  • Define and implement a comprehensive loyalty strategy for North America and work with senior Visa leadership to ensure alignment on execution
  • Deliver impactful loyalty solutions (e.g. - card linking) and services (e.g. - campaigns to drive contactless usage) to Visa’s Issuers & Merchants, which a) create additional value and/or differentiated experiences for Visa cardholders in North America and therefore b) help Visa win/retain its clients
  • Work with the Head of Global Loyalty to shape Visa’s overarching strategy and vision for loyalty products around the world; serve as a role-model on execution for regions looking to leverage ‘loyalty’ as a Visa offering; work with the Global Loyalty Product Team to ensure Visa’s product roadmap meets in-market expectations
  • Scale VCN in the US; build a self-sustaining advertising network where increasing publisher traffic (‘enrolled cardholders’) drives merchant participation and corresponding merchant participation drives sustained publisher growth; solve for maximizing the number of cardholders on the network with each partnership
  • Set the standards for all card-linked promotions running on Visa’s rails in N. America, with particular emphasis on 3rd Party partners leveraging Visa’s real-time messaging products
  • Establish relationships with key external clients using Visa’s loyalty products; ensure client feedback is successfully translated into loyalty capabilities
  • Set goals and maintain accountability for Sales, BD, Technical Integration, and Account Management teams delivering loyalty solutions in North America
  • Liaise with key internal stakeholders from product, legal, finance and technology to construct sound commercial deals and execute smoothly  
  • Own the Loyalty P&L for North America

 

Qualifications

  • Subject matter expert on online-to-offline (020) advertising; ideally direct work experience promoting card-linked offers but not required

 

  • Mobile and e-commerce background highly desirable; Payments experience highly desirable

 

  • 5+ years experience building and managing teams; Exceptional leadership abilities and demonstrated knowledge of connecting goals to employee engagement and output

 

  • Proven track record leading complex projects that require the detailed coordination of multiple cross-functional teams (e.g. - sales, marketing, technical integration,  account management, finance, and product); Demonstrated troubleshooting ability while still maintaining professionalism, efficiency, and poise

 

  • Natural ability to think outside-the-box and innovate on a consistent basis; Must be able to translate high-level vision into an executable strategy

 

  • 10 years business experience in client facing positions

 

  • Communication skills (written and verbal) are without question; Exceptional at establishing collaborative relationships with senior leaders

 

  • BS/BA required/ and MBA or Masters preferred
