What's it all about?

The Communications Manager will be responsible for communications programs designed to position Visa as a partner of choice and industry leader among client stakeholders.

 

What we expect of you, day to day.

  • You will be supporting the Europe client engagement strategy by developing and delivering a communications programme to position Visa as a partner of choice in Europe
  • Responsible for the end to end project management of the strategic client communications initiatives
  • Supporting the development of thought leadership content to clients, working with client support teams, clusters and the global communications teams to develop video content, case studies and articles aligned to Visa's thought leadership agenda
  • You will be working with the client sales team to segment client groups and mailing lists specific to client communications strategy
  • Supporting the delivery of projects; including the development of materials for client facing staff both in Europe and globally
  • You will partner with cluster teams to co-develop content for local events
  • Providing expert advice and support on FAQs and talking points for client facing staff
  • Reviewing content and articles, ensuring compliance with approval processes and alignment with global messaging and positioning
  • You will support the creation of presentations and speaking notes for events in conjunction with the Europe communications team
  • Assisting with management of the communications agency, ensuring effective delivery against plans and that plans are measurable.

Qualifications

What we're after...

  • Proven experience as a project manager with a proven track record of planning, documenting and delivery of projects; working under pressure and with tight deadlines
  • Proven digital publishing skills and experience in multi-media storytelling
  • A high level of organisational and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal English language communications skills
  • Proven digital experience
  • Evidence of working as a driven self-starter capable of working independently
  • A good team player communicating openly
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively manage internal stakeholders
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Budget, contract and procurement management
  • Educated to degree level or equivalent
  • Second European language preferred
