Job Description

As an intern in our Business Tools Software Engineering team you will help design, enhance and build our services and applications for customers in an agile development environment. You will be working with colleagues, who will help, support and challenge you every day. Unit testing, code reviewing, and regular check-ins for continuous integration is just part of your DNA. We expect our interns to contribute production quality code and artifacts just like any other software engineer.

Interns will be exposed to the full Secure Software Development Lifecycle (SSDLC) including requirements gathering and research, UI/UX discovery and prototyping, designing and implementation, test engineering, and deployments into production. Responsibilities:

 Help our client to achieve their real goals by understanding the requirements and how it would help them in their business.

• Use technologies including Java, REST APIs, and more.
• Help Design & implement web, reporting, batching, and distributed applications
• Use JavaScript UI frameworks like ReactJS and D3 to build highly interactive user interfaces
• Use Database technologies Oracle, Hadoop, Cassandra and search engines like SOLR
• Lead meeting and discussions with non-technical teams.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and team player.

Academics: Bachelor or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field

Qualifications

• Undergraduate or Masters candidate in Computer Sciences
• Understanding of architecture and operations of highly available and scalable web services.
• Experience with agile development process
• Experience with XML, JSON, REST-based APIs
• Experience with Java or NodeJS
• Experience developing in a Unix/Linux environment
