Job Description

On a day-to-day basis, you will support product managers in coordinating and business requirements and user stories for technology teams. You will support and coordinate end user demos, user acceptance testing, timeline management and operational issues for the product enhancements. The product analyst role requires the candidate to be comfortable with supporting the product user community, triaging and owning any product related operational issues, to have an aptitude and desire to grow in the product manager space. You should be able to work across cross functional and global product and engineering teams and must be comfortable reviewing high level design documents to ensure adherence to requirements. You have a “product ownership” attitude and be ready to do whatever it takes to support the product. You have a “can do” attitude, do not draw boundaries around your job responsibilities and reach out into any area that is needed to get the job done.

Qualifications

  • Technical Degree in CS/Engineering or demonstrated equivalent technical expertise through past work experience or personal projects
  • At least 2 years of experience in a product or technical role
  • Domain experience in fintech, banking services/payments, API development, mobile banking apps, card issuing/processing, or payment networks is a plus but not required
  • Self-starter with an ability to locate and harness resources to understand products and get them shipped
  • Detail oriented mindset with a thorough follow through to ensure no balls are dropped
  • Able to translate client or user needs into technical requirements for developers
  • Motivated to continuously find small and large ways for the team to make ongoing improvements to products or processes
  • If this is your first product management role, enthusiasm to learn the product craft, willingness to study subject matter expertise, ask questions and learn by doing
  • Empathetic, and mindful of not just your perspective but also what matters to customers, stakeholders and partner teams when communicating and doing product work
  • Responsibilities
    • Taking responsibility and completing product management tasks in the implementation schedule with moderate supervision
    • Supporting transformation of business requirements into detailed use cases
    • Coordinating and Engaging with cross functional engineering teams to ensure that technical designs are reviewed and follow requirements
    • Sprint planning and grooming of user story backlog
    • Webservice based product delivery
    • User Acceptance Testing
    • Writing simple data queries
