Job Description

Visa’s Operational Resilience organization is seeking a high caliber Data Quality professional to join the Technology Solutions and Operations team in the role of Senior Analyst. This is an individual contributor role reporting directly to the Director of Technology Solutions and Operations. The Operational Resilience organization manages complex data sets and relationships that form the foundation for effective business continuity and crisis management planning. The Senior Data Quality Analyst is responsible for turning data into information, and information into insights to drive informed business decisions.

We are looking for a highly driven individual that can help drive data quality and technical solutions that improve the efficiency and productivity of the organization.

Responsibilities

·       Establish and maintain data quality framework including strategy, methodology, procedures and technical documentation

·       Develop and implement data analyses, data collection systems and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality

·       Acquire data from primary or secondary data sources and maintain databases

·       Perform quality assurance on inbound and outbound data

·       Interpret data and analyze results using statistical techniques

·       Identify discrepancies and issue data integrity reports on a regular cadence

·       Manage data owners via corrective + preventive action requirements

·       Include systemic data integrity issues in Committee reporting

Qualifications

·       Bachelor’s Degree required in Computer Science, Information Management, Economics, or Statistics

·       Strong knowledge of and experience with reporting packages (Business Objects etc.), databases (SQL etc.), programming (XML, JavaScript, or ETL frameworks)

·       Knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages for analyzing datasets (Excel, SPSS, SAS etc.)

·       Ability to implement advanced formulas in Excel

·       Demonstrated proficiency in Office 365 suite and Tableau

·       Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy

·       Adept at queries, report writing and presenting findings

·       Ability to work in fast-paced, rapidly changing, and high pressured environment

·       Strong interpersonal and indirect influencing skills, with a demonstrated ability to gain the confidence of individuals at various organizational levels

·       High level of personal initiative, creativity and self-motivation

·       Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills
