Job Description

The Risk Strategic Planning & Operations Manager will report to the Sr Director, Product Delivery. They will develop a strategic framework to grow and differentiate Risk Management at Visa, including communication, commercialization, and client-engagement strategies. They will also lead and execute on strategic initiatives that are threats to Visa.   

Key Accountabilities

  • This position partners closely with the Audit, Risk, and Public Policy leadership team to design and execute the global strategy, priorities, and business outcomes for the team. You will work with stakeholders across all Visa Regions and functional groups to implement, operate and execute go-to-market activities

  • Conduct research and analysis of industry trends in the landscape to identify, prioritize and quantify key strategic trends

  • Develop short-term, intermediate, and long-term strategy framework that articulates why risk management at Visa is a key differentiator in the market

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand and shape the future of risk management, clearly articulating how these services will help clients meet their strategic objectives

  • Support qualitative and quantitative analysis in support of targeted initiatives

  • Create impactful assets to help scale the team's reach across the larger organization and extend Visa’s thought leadership in the risk management and payments space

  • Assist in developing senior management level presentations and executive briefing documents that clearly communicate the team’s analysis and recommendations.

Qualifications

 

  • 3 to 5 years experience preferably in consulting or business operations; including expertise in leading go to market strategy and delivery.  
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • A proven track record of success in fast-paced environments with demanding timelines.

  • Demonstrated thought leadership, excellent problem solving skills and the aptitude to think creatively and identify new ways to innovate and differentiate with evidence of tangible business results.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to develop strong working relationships at all different of management, across different functions and organizations

  • Proven record of high performance managing complex initiatives to achieve outstanding results

  • Solid influencing skills and presentation skills and ability to communicate at all levels with clarity and precision both written and verbally is necessary.
