What’s it all about?
Provides operational support to the UK & Ireland Business Development team in developing strategic new business opportunities with Fintechs for Visa and leading small to medium sized opportunities within the cluster.
What we expect of you, day to day.
Support the Business Development team through preparation of proposals, briefs, presentations and other forms of documentation for strategic opportunities
Assist with onboarding new Fintech clients to Visa
Support small to medium size business development initiatives within the UK & Ireland team
Support the team in the production and maintenance of accurate and timely management information
Conduct research and compile and summarise findings for reports and correspondence
Initiate Client Incentive Agreement requests for proposals ensuring timely response and that requirements are feasible
Assist the UK & Ireland FinTech & New Business Team in preparation for internal and external meetings.
Contribute to the annual business/account plan for your assigned account, agreeing with your Line Manager what actions will be required for the product/portfolio
Proactively manage a product portfolio or product for a key account client, ensuring they are provided appropriate support from Visa
- Work closely with your assigned client(s), regularly liaising with multiple key stakeholders and ensuring an ongoing quality relationship is maintained
- Engage with colleagues across Visa, ensuring teams such as marketing and consulting are appropriately involved and informed about your client issues
- Contribute to multi-client forums on specialist areas
What we’re after…
Proven experience within a business-business or account management role, a related industry would be preferable
Some sales and negotiation experience would be desirable
Good grasp of financials and underpinning of a P&L
Displays a genuine interest in Business Development and payment related issues
Enthusiasm and appetite for learning
Accuracy and attention to detail
Proficient computer skills
Ability to build relationships internally and externally
