Summary

As a UX Engineer you will work with the UX Platform team as it grows to deliver UX objectives as well as support UI Platform development efforts. Your team will bring product ideas and user outcomes to life by delivering a consistent, modular UI that is intuitive and scalable.

Responsibilities

• Provide and guidance and support on project specific processes, procedures, tools, training, and techniques as they relate to UX best Practices
• Collaborate with a global team of UI/UX Engineers
• Apply existing patterns and templates to your design methodology
• Analyze and resolve complex problems associated with applications systems. Detect, diagnose, and report related problems
• Determine and provide estimates for design and development tasks
• Contribute to the team’s design libraries
• Able to articulate research needs and asks from your user experience researcher
• Lead the continued improvement of the organization's development procedures by looking for opportunities for improvement and implementing solutions
• Ensuring that designs, code, and unit tests are consistent, robust, and scalable
• Leads project related meetings

Typical Tasks:

• Collaborate with technical managers, architects and other technical leads to deliver world class enterprise grade software and software enabled services
• Mentor/shared knowledge with other teams on technology and process ensuring UX best practices and continuous improvement

• Minimum 4 years’ experience developing enterprise-level, mission critical, database-driven software for medium and large application development projects. Full life cycle experience is required.
• Working understanding of UI frameworks and Design Systems like React/AngularJS and Material Design. 
  • Experience in React required.
  • Experience in using Sketch and Invision
• Thorough understanding of software design and development
• Must be focused on the delivery of customer value, in the form of executing software that meets the customer's needs.
• Must be able to interact and communicate with all levels of staff and project management in both the business and the technical areas
• Must be able to work off hours to collaborate with a global team
• Possess excellent analytical, problem solving, organizational, interpersonal, and motivational skills, with the ability to move cleanly from theoretical to implementation thinking.
