Visa Consulting and Analytics, the consulting arm of Visa, is a global team of industry experts in strategy, marketing, operations, risk and economics consulting, with decades of experience in the payments industry.
As part of its consulting service line, VCA offers Managed Services (VMS) which is a full cycle solution for the implementation of enterprise programs and portfolio strategies, ensuring strategy implementation through profitable lifecycle campaigns and portfolio management execution. Managed Services acts as a true extension of Visa Clients’ team bringing together expertise, capabilities, resources and scale to enhance performance and increase profitability.
The VCA team is looking for a high performance individual to join its consulting practice and play a key role developing and delivering high impact projects across the Latin-American and Caribbean region. The potential candidate will proactively engage with Visa Clients, by delivering and implementing projects and solutions with issuers, acquirers and merchants. This person will develop initiatives to promote sustainable and profitable growth, thereby ensuring that Visa is both, the preferred brand and unique business partner.
The Managed Services Platform Manager will support the design and execution of VCA’s Managed Services strategy. This individual will be responsible for defining and integrating an innovative platform solution to enhance our Managed Services function through automated, scalable and cutting edge execution capabilities and ensuring alignment with the current and future needs of Visa and its Clients.
Specific duties and responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to:
Analyze and lead discussions around internal and external ideal platform solutions for integration of Managed Services solutions in LAC.
Proactively ensure the smooth run of programs as well as the quality of the workflow to ensure flows meet the required timeline of our solutions with issuers, acquirers and merchants.
Experiment and sandbox Visa’s and external APIs to enrich use cases and monetize. Liaise with technical teams like operations and IT to architect the right solutions.
Enhance program execution across the entire campaign cycle through automation.
Improve programs by enriching traditional data with complementary sources.
Structure information in the most optimal way to accomplish and streamline ETL processes.
Document all projects development related to platform and write user manual documentation as needed.
Provide guidance, oversight and accountability for campaign programs including coordination with internal teams and external partners. Establish timelines of projects and ensure execution meets deadlines.
Discover, model, measure and improve program processes to streamline and gain efficiencies from automation and alignment.
Determine the optimal way to distribute programs in order to have the most business impact, ROI within an omnichannel approach.
Leverage state-of-the-art platforms to perform managed services functions.
Continuously explore and be in the lookout for new technologies, practices and methodologies that can enhance the managed services function/practice.
Serve as liaison with functional teams ensuring consistency and collaborative working environment throughout Visa’s local, regional and global groups.
Bachelor's degree in quantitative fields such as business administration, economics, finance, statistical / actuarial, computer science, engineering MBA a plus.
6 to 8 years of relevant experience in financial services industry, payments, consulting or similar.
Technological driven mindset, digitally savvy and up-to-date with latest market and industry analytical and digital trends.
Problem solving ability with strategic focus on influencing ROI. Understanding of card and payment P&L and critical factors driving profitability.
Experience executing commercial programs in platforms like Salesforce, SAS, Adobe, Teradata or similar.
Passionate, self-motivated, results oriented individual with the ability to handle numerous projects concurrently.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
English and Spanish (Portuguese a plus).
