Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Partnership leader with financial service / technology industry experience to lead B2B Connect’s global expansion initiatives. B2B Connect is Visa first non-card based large value payment product using distributed ledger technology. This is an incredibly exciting time to join our team as we expand globally.

Position Summary:

This role is a unique opportunity to join Visa Global B2B Connect leadership team and be part of parting the picture for a global financial industry eco system. The leader will be passionate about customer experience, innovation and business growth and will be responsible for a P+L. You will have the opportunity to build a high-performing team across multiple geographies, set global plans and KPI’s that align to B2B Connect’s growth plans

 

Job Scope:

  • Conceptualize and own the execution of B2B Connect  global partnership plan

  • Lead a team of multi-disciplined, internal and external partnership subject matter experts, in executing actions that will enable multiple ecosystem players to participate in B2B Connect.
  • Develop comprehensive strategies to deliver partner ecosystem – Technology, supporting Governance and strategic framework for payment hub providers/ service bureau’s, supply chain and related value chain partners to participate in B2B Connect

  • Define the appropriate partner acceptance criteria and support models that can scale
  • Partnership Product development and execution will be a critical aspect of this role
  • Own and manage world class partner onboarding and customer experience processes
  • Provide a voice for B2B Connect in the market for Visa including internal and external thought leadership
  • Lead partnership team and be subject matter expertise to onboard first five core founding members in 2019
  • Facilitate and manage prioritization of product feature backlog to drive execution of product vision, roadmap to ensure client and partner success
  • Lead the analysis, insight and ongoing monitoring of market trends, regulations and competitive analysis to enable Visa’s teams to develop and implement proactive strategies and
    plans to protect and grow Visa’s business
  • Lead all aspects of go to market strategies for partner ecosystem
  • Establish and manage world class partner onboarding experience and organize them as a cohesive entity to pursue a range of business opportunities over the short and long term
  • Lead talent initiatives including attracting, retaining and developing high performing employees and ensure team is staffed and motivated to deliver B2B Connect global objectives
  • Customize delivery of B2B Connect global capabilities to align with individual client needs and priorities
  • Refine and execute the vision for B2B Connect to be recognized as the global network for financial institutions and multiple value chain service providers

  • Take an active role in the future of the service by identifying and defining new use cases, be the advocate of those to the B2B Connect Product team

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated experience as a seasoned Product leader who has worked with and/or managed global teams 

  • Technology industry, Financial service product driven experience –treasury technology experience a plus but not required

  • High energy level, performance oriented and passionate about B2B industry players, their customers, and emerging technology / global B2B commerce space

  • 15+ years of related, professional experience (or equivalent combined with education) with progressive management experience

  • Bilingual will be a plus

  • Advanced degree will be a plus, but is not required
