As the Product Manager for Commerce & Cloud you are at the forefront of consumer and merchant choice for payment acceptance.  The role requires a strong knowledge of commerce and global market trends especially within the ecommerce technology ecosystem and its evolution to an on demand and cloud based model.

This position is responsible for execution and delivery of the strategy and product management for CyberSource’s Commerce & Cloud solutions; serving small, mid-market and enterprise businesses.  Helping to create and deliver integrations that will make it easier for merchants so they can take advantage of the widest range of CyberSource and Visa products & services with minimal/reduced development both in the short and long term.  

Key responsibilities for this position include managing the entire product lifecycle for 3rd Party Technology Integration Projects including strategic planning through rollout activities.

As Product Manager you will be required to work closely with the Product Development teams in preparing product specifications and business requirements by leveraging market research as well as customer and partner feedback.  The Product Manager will need to help in the creation and evolution of a plan as well as execute the commercialization rollout for new integrations, product features and functionality needs for all regions, business areas and strategic initiatives.  Facilitating this rollout will require engagement with cross-functional stakeholders across VISA and partner organizations.

As Product Manager you will be expected to present results back to the business including increased merchant adoption, increased speed to market and ROI, transaction growth, revenue figures and merchant adoption metrics to reflect performance.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Execute a robust and comprehensive Commerce Platform and Technology Integration strategy for Visa's Merchant Digital product lines, to support the broad range of merchant and partner use cases

  • Contribute to the development of the overall product strategy, product roadmap, and business plan

  • Work closely with other Product owners, Solutions, Marketing, Sales, Customers, Partners and Engineering teams to define and develop detailed product/ business requirements

  • Lead and (where applicable) Perform User Acceptance Testing and ensure requirements were understood and implemented as requested

  • Ensure projects and products are delivered and maintained in line with Visa’s quality and security standards.

  • Ensure projects and products are delivered and maintained in line with our Product Management Software development Lifecycle and commercialization framework.

  • Evaluate new product opportunities and create proposals for products to enhance and scale the ability to deliver merchant enablement efficiently.

  • Influence product and technology strategy and direction (roadmap),

  • Manage Vendor engagement with internal and external 3rd Party services related to Technology Integrations as well as with the Key Technology Partners in support of the Alliances Team.

  • Be responsible for all creation and management of documentation covering integrations and work product, as well as any supporting additional documentation.

  • Work with Product Management Leadership and other Product Managers to help define and drive go to market efforts across all existing and new integrations to maximise new Product ROI.

  • Evangelize the power of technology driven enablement across the customer facing organisations to ensure consistency of knowledge across the wider business. This includes driving enablement delivery, internal knowledgebase management, asset management, working with marketing on message delivery and updates.

  • Implement strategy for the development and distribution for Technology Platform driven enablement services for key external partners such as Banks, Resellers, and Development ecosystems.

  • Actively prioritize product back-log , pre planning, prioritization and user story mapping sessions

  • Be comfortable to own, manage and report on portfolio of projects at any one time confidently.

  • UK Based with global travel requirements

Qualifications

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience including merchant/partner management experience.

  • Demonstrable experience in Payments

  • Strong product management experience in mobile, or payments, ecommerce, OMS, ERP or similar responsible for value proposition definition and communications, product Experience using/implementing or building plugins/extensions or frameworks a plus.

  • Adept in Agile and other development methodologies

  • Strong project management skills and demonstrated ability to coordinate multiple parties to deliver market facing products (Prince 2 Qualified an advantage)

  • differentiation, cost/benefit analysis, and executive presentations

  • Strong working knowledge of the ecommerce and commerce industry’s with partner, technology partnerships preferable:

  • Demonstrated strength at building relationships , highly motivated, strong sense of urgency, ability to motivate others

  • Strong disposition towards action

  • Excellent problem solving skills with a strong focus on client success

  • Comfortable operating in a complex distributed organization with the ability influence those without direct management responsibility in a matrixed organization
