Job Description

  • Calculation of client incentives, evaluating performance against contractual terms to determine support payments due

  • The management of the client incentive payment request inbox to prioritise the calculation of payments

  • Manage the client incentive payment cycle in line with Client Incentive Operations governance

  • The build and maintenance of ‘Booking Packages’ in Excel models, including the forecasting and calculating of the accounting for client incentive contracts

  • The build and data migration of contractual terms and accounting streams into a developing Oracle Revenue Management and Billing system (ORMB)

  • Capture of client incentive contractual obligations, accounting and payments in the Client Incentive Operations database (MS Access)

  • Support CIO month end accounting activities, including variance analysis, accrual calculation, journal posting, reconciliations and Hyperion data files

  • Support compliance with Client Incentive Operations governance process and audit requirements, including documentation and tracking of approvals

  • Support budgeting and forecasting of CIO incentives

  • Responsible for non-amortised deal payments

  • Coordinate all payment calculations and approvals from the CIO team with GMBS (Global Member Billing System) and Cash Officer

Qualifications

  • Newly qualified or finalist level CIMA/ACCA studier (or equivalent)

  • Experience in builds/modelling in ORMB, Access Database or Excel

  • Intermediate MS Access skills (or other relational database – RDBMS). To include data input/database interrogation/query building)

  • Advanced Excel skills (e.g vlookups/Pivots/ Macros) with extensive skills in modelling

  • Previous experience in a Controllership within Finance and Commercial Finance departments

  • Flexible, adaptable approach – comfortable with changing workload and multi-tasking

  • Exceptional attention to detail

  • Extensive experience working with complex datasets

  • Intellectual curiosity and a desire to understand the business

  • Willingness to work under pressure

  • Strong communication skills

  • Self-motivated and a team player
