The Sr. Software Test Engineer will play a pivotal role in our Merchant & Acquiring Processing department. In this mission critical role, it’s an opportunity to design and implement test solutions
and taking it to the production with high quality completing all testing phases,
following an agile methodology. The responsibilities also include active scrum
team participation, creation and validation of tests using SSDLC in an Agile
environment. It is an opportunity to learn, lead and work on technologies for
all Merchant & Acquiring Processing applications.

• High technical competency and experience working in J2EE, Restful & SOAP API based application..

• Expertise in understanding features, performing impact analysis, author and execute test cases with very high test coverage.

• Experience using data driven tests to validate API calls in large J2EE n-tier
  architectures.

• Exposure to Platform engineering/DevOps in large enterprise product is preferable.

• Ability to understand underlying architecture of Scalable, Reliable Enterprise class applications, review architecture/design changes and come up with required test scenarios.

• Strong expertise in developing/enhancing test automation frameworks (Java, Junit/TestNg).

• Experience in debugging and troubleshooting issues in Linux/Unix based environments
  (JBoss,Tomcat, WebSphere)

• Must have worked in AGILE methodology and exposure to testing environment migration, DB and infrastructure/system upgrades etc..

• Have worked in Shift Left, Continuous Integration/Testing/Delivery models

• Proactive and strong communication skills is a must along with ability to work with multiple stakeholders.

• Knowledge of Performance testing and exposure to Security testing is a plus.

• Bachelor's degree + 3 - 7 years of experience in Computer Science or related field.
