Job Description

Job purpose:

This role will be a member of Visa's North America (NA) GTM and Solutions team, which is responsible for bringing best in class Visa products and solutions to market. They will work within the NA Market Strategy function to help develop an evolving and executable strategy that ensures that Visa products and capabilities meet the NA market and client requirements.

They will do so by ensuring that the right products and capabilities are prioritized within the NA market. And by helping in developing cross-product narratives and thought leadership content for client-facing teams. Main areas of responsibilities across projects include performing data analysis, conducting research, leading internal product conversations and helping develop executive level narratives and presentations. They will work closely with internal partners such as: Global Product, Corporate Strategy, Innovation, Strategic Partnerships, and Legal among many others. This position in based out of San Francisco, CA and reports into Sr. Director, NA Market Strategy.


  • Building strong working relationships within Global Product & NA Solutions teams

  • Going deep and proactively learn more about specific Visa products & solutions

  • Support various NA product initiatives through Visa and third-party data analysis and modelling on metrics such as transactions, spend, client penetration and segmentation etc.

  • Apply professional skepticism when assessing data sources and validate completeness and accuracy of data received.

  • Help develop thought leadership content on cross-product narrative, competitive landscape, and product positioning to enable client-facing teams and client/product delivery functions.

  • Develop and maintain a holistic list of Visa products and capabilities to help surface any gaps to better address U.S. market and client needs and maintain Visa’s competitive advantage across various lines of products.   

  • 10-15% travel expected



  • Bachelor's degree from top-tier institution or similar academic experience required. 

  • Product development, business strategy or management consulting equivalent experience (3+ years)

  • Extreme proficiency in all MS software applications

  • High level of comfort with developing data forecasts and models within various BI tools and Microsoft Excel for actionable insights through data analysis.

  • Strong commercial acumen; understands the economics of client’s business and how our products impact a client’s P&L as well as the commercial drivers of Visa’s business

  • Payments experience preferred

  • Digital product experience preferred (i.e. tokens, e-commerce, m-commerce, APIs)

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
