Job Description

Technology Planning and Business Operations at Visa is a key enabling function that keeps the day-to-day running of the Technology organization humming along smoothly.  We deliver Technology wide programs, work diligently to constantly challenge the status quo, and we drive and continuously improve practices cross-functionally in a wide array of domains.

This role will be part of the BizOps & Performance Improvement team, whose purpose is to drive change and improvements for the Technology organization. Our team is taking a crucial role in partnering with the Visa Diversity and Inclusion Team to drive Technology-wide initiatives to attract, retain, and advance diverse talents.

As a result, we are looking for someone who will be leading those activities from a Tech standpoint, supporting 12 different departments and working cross-functionally to drive initiatives to completion and success. This role requires high collaborative skills, patience, strong passion in Diversity and Inclusion cause, a creative mind, and an ability to drive activities to completion with little or no oversight. 

As a Senior Program Analyst, your responsibilities will be primarily focused in the following areas:

Driving D&I Initiatives and Programs at Visa

  • Work cross-functionally with multiple functions at Visa to deliver on D&I Initiatives to bring talent to Visa – this includes working with Tech, D&I, HR, Talent Acquisition, Corporate Responsibility Team, etc.

  • Implement and expand partnerships with external organizations to bring talent into Visa – this includes onboarding partners, managing partner relationship, proposing a roadmap to expand existing partnership across Visa

  • Harmonize processes across different D&I programs to allow for operationalization

  • Participate in planning and executing onboarding and orientation activities related to those programs

Leading Women in Tech Employee Resource Group

  • Manage and develop the Women In Tech Employee Resource Group globally – create a vision, program structure, key initiatives, and success metrics

  • Act locally as the Employee Resource Group ambassador – plan, budget, lead activities to bring employees together, develop and monitor success metrics

Supporting Recruiting efforts at D&I Conferences

  • Partner with the D&I Recruiting Team to attend conferences, and help drive the recruiting effort from inception to offer by collaborating with Technology hiring managers

Overall Program Management

  • Be an agent for change and an advocate for the Tech D&I programs

  • Manage stakeholder’s communication, initiatives roadmap

  • Occasionally create presentations for senior leadership to summarize initiatives and impact

  • Apply interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with stakeholders

  • Work independently to research subject matter, and interact with other departments and organizations across Visa to obtain and exchange information

  • Manage a moderate amount of concurrent assignments and drive projects to completion

     

Qualifications

  • Creative self-starter with a sense of urgency and persistence (“Get things done” attitude)

  • While being tenacious with problem-solving, we are also looking for someone with ability to apply both analytical and intuitive mindset to problem-solving

  • Collaborative and flexible, able to work with cross-functional and geographically dispersed teams

  • Ability to lead with compassion and influence without authority

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Strong listening skills

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office product suite for Windows including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

  • Comfortable with manipulating data in Excel

  • Minimum Master’s degree or equivalent in relevant field

  • 5 to 7 years of experience in project/program management in Human Resources or relevant field

  • Experience in business consulting is a plus
