Job Description

Position Summary

The Associate Manager, Benefit Delivery resides in the US Consumer Credit Products organization and is responsible for partnering with cross-functional teams to drive business opportunities for Visa and our clients through activation of Visa’s travel and lifestyle benefits.  

 

This role will also assist with the launch of new Visa Signature and Visa Infinite card products, and will be involved in the onboarding and ongoing management of new travel and lifestyle benefits for Visa’s Consumer Credit business in North America.

 

This is an individual contributor role responsible for supporting key pillars of Visa’s overarching consumer credit product strategy.  The position is based in Foster City, California. 

 

Responsibilities

  • Develop an engagement framework for Visa’s travel and lifestyle benefits, in direct alignment with Visa’s North America Affluent Credit strategy

  • Create and manage all go-to-market collateral, including benefit overviews, marketing messaging, creative assets and implementation requirements

  • Develop and maintain benefit activation calendar and performance dashboards for internal use and consultation

  • Actively engage with internal teams to create innovative affluent marketing strategies that leverage assets and capabilities

  • Define and manage research projects in support of benefits sourcing and activation activities

  • Lead collaborative efforts with internal stakeholders to identify and pursue new benefit opportunities that drive cardholder acquisition, usage and loyalty

  • Laisse with Sales and Product Delivery teams to identify client demand for travel and lifestyle benefit enhancements

  • Partner with Product Management team to develop competitive affluent credit product strategies

  • Assist in the identification, negotiation and onboarding of new benefit partnerships with leading travel & lifestyle brands

  • Work with Product Delivery and Sales teams to utilize benefits to win and retain credit card issuer and cobrand client deals

  • Work with clients to customize benefits and benefit marketing plans to differentiate their products and capture affluent cardholder spend

  • Work with Operations team assist in benefit vendor management, including invoicing, reporting, and escalations management

  • Assist in day to day product management activities, working with cross-functional teams including Risk, Compliance, Legal and Marketing

  • Maintain strong understanding of competitive and affluent market landscape to deliver strategic recommendations to internal stakeholders

  • Develop and manage ongoing benchmarking of travel and lifestyle benefit utilization by client to support engagement analysis, benefit business reviews, ROI models and renewals

  • Manage agency resources

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in product management or marketing

  • Critical thinking skills with demonstrated ability to translate data into strategic, actionable insights

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to establish effective relationships internally with all levels including executive management

  • Ability to collaborate and work effectively across functional areas to influence and achieve consensus on goals and objectives  

  • Commitment to quality, detail-orientation

  • Proficient on all Microsoft products including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

  • Business acumen with minimum BA/BS required
