What’s it all about?

Attracting, hiring and engaging Visa’s next generation. As a Next Gen Talent Team, our mission is to grow the graduate population in Europe, through robust university recruitment, best-in-class pipeline programmes, and experiences to enable and inspire our budding hires.

Our team sits within the broader European Talent and Human Resources organisation, highly connected to the Global University Talent function. The Next Gen Talent Leader in Europe will lead a small but mighty team focused on attracting the next generation of digital, diverse, entrepreneurial students, identifying the game-changers, and supporting them to make their mark at Visa.

 

What we expect of you, day to day.

  • Drive the education and engagement of the business around the power of Next Gen Talent, including: Hiring Manager Training, Annual Workforce Planning, Executive Updates, Internal Marketing and Storytelling. Champion a best-in-class internal brand of the service our team provides and talent we bring into the organisation.

  • Lead the team in designing and executing strategic, innovative, university and school relation strategies to attract top talent, from target institutions to national sponsorships to social & digital exposure.

  • Lead the team in managing the full cycle recruiting process for our apprentices, interns and graduates, from sourcing to testing & selection to offers. Continue to drive operational excellence as you iterate in process definition and enable the use of new technology.

  • Instil a keen focus on candidate experience from attraction through application until start date.

  • Lead and execute the full scope of the summer internship and degree apprenticeship programmes from inductions, rotation, performance management, development plans and conversions.

  • Deliver the supplementary learning & experience offerings for our graduate hires within their first year.

  • Drive the expansion of the intern programme and graduate hiring into new European countries: from leadership education to programme component definition through to university selection and delivery.

  • Develop and operationalise disruptive new ways to utilise our apprenticeship levy.

  • Manage, enable and inspire a team of 2-3 attraction & recruitment specialists to root new programs and processes within a highly dynamic business.

  • Oversight and definition of new Next Gen policies like compensation, immigration & relocation.

Qualifications

What we’re after…

  • Mid-Senior level of work experience in the early talent space, knowledge of the tech industry a plus!

  • Experience managing an apprenticeship program is desirable

  • Passion for growing and developing entry level talent

  • Consultative, influential, and collaborative

  • Proven coaching, developing and people management skills

  • Strategic thinker with global mindset

  • Tapped into current market trends in the next gen talent space
