Visa Consulting and Analytics (VC&A) drives tangible, impactful and financial results for Visa’s clients, including both financial institutions and merchants.

The South Eastern Europe (SEE) Consulting Practice within VC&A provides consulting and solution services for Visa’s issuers, acquirers and merchants in the region. We apply our deep expertise in the payments industry to provide solutions to assist clients with their key business priorities drive growth and improve profitability.

The team is looking for a Fixed Term Consultant to join our consulting practice and play a key role delivering a high impact project for one of Visa’s key clients. The role reports to the Visa Europe SEE VC&A team and the Fixed Term Consultant will work towards achieving project goals by managing day-to-day activities in marketing, governance and overall management of the project.

What we expect of you day to day...

• Assumes the day-to-day responsibility of a high impact consulting project on portfolio migration, ensuring the project achieves successful migration with minimum attrition rates and cost incurred for the client.

• Develop detailed project plan with dependencies and risks identified and mitigated and manage the plan to completion:

  • • Migration phase planning

    • Governance structure

    • Operational plan of a migration to manage field teams, retail networks and any third party stakeholders to ensure timely execution;

    • Support marketing & campaign management preparation and implementation

• Incorporate best practices and learnings from past Visa engagements on portfolio migration into the project to ensure high level of quality in delivery

• Effectively communicate and liaise project status, budget, risks and mitigation actions with internal and external stakeholders at various levels of seniority and function

What we're after...

• Educated to Bachelor's degree (Economics, enginerring, analytics, business related fields) 

• Previous banking and/or consulting experience (preferably client-facing experience in strategy or management consulting firms)

• Knowledge and understanding of banking operations and payments space, including products & services, business systems and processes and marketing initiatives 

• Self-starter and attention to detail

• Ability to liaise with multiple stakeholders at various levels within the business

• Commercial Acumen – being able to spot an opportunity and drive value for Visa and the Client

• Excellent presentation and communication skills (written and verbal) including an ability to comprehend and convey complex technical information

• Excellent report writing skills (ability to tell a simple ‘story’ involving complex issues)

• Experience working with financial indicators to measure business performance with a focus on impacting ROI

• Ability to solve business problems through data driven methodologies

• Technology mindset, curious, up-to-date with digital trends, fintechs and applications

• Fluent in written and spoken English
