Job Description

  • Develop, Design, and Manage the user experience team for Consumer, Merchants and Developers across Visa digital payments solutions
  • Oversee the team that creates effective UX designs based on business requirements, delivering end-to-end user experience solutions for multiple products and platforms - from concepts, detailed wireframes, prototypes, to visual design comps, and detailed design specifications
  • Define the overall UX strategy and vision for our digital client experience across all channels, aligned with our broader business strategy. 
  • Leadership - Advocate for an integrated, consistent UI throughout all our product experiences. 
  • Develop and drive the process of User Centered Design within Visa Digital solutions
  • Actively engage in strategic planning and company / cultural leadership.
  • Work with executive team to promote UX best practices within the whole organization  
  • Foster a deep and rewarding collaboration with the Product Managers, Engineers, Marketers, and align the product development strategy with target audience needs, brand positioning and business goals
  • Provide and translate insightful data to understand our customers needs through research, interviews, testing, collaboration, brainstorming
  • Capture, develop, and deliver ideas/processes that can help our patent portfolio
  • Be an advocate for our customers

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

·       Experience with User Center Design, process; planning, discovery, and documentation, plus the related fields; research, prototyping, interaction, user testing, branding, design, and production

·       Excellent leadership, strategic/analytical thinking, communication, problem solving, influencing, and interpersonal skills

·       Experience and understanding of Product Management and the agile process

·       Superior relationship-building, communication and negotiation skills within cross-functional teams, including specific examples of successful working relationships and processes with product management and engineering

·       Excellent written and oral communication skills

·       Demonstrated knowledge in computer and mobile platforms (Apple and Android)

·       Minimum of Bachelor’s degree or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications

·       15+ years in related professional work with at least 7+ years managing user experience teams

·       Experience in consumer payments or e-commerce is preferred

·       Visionary with strategic mindset who can partner with others to execute the strategy

·       Successful experience in building teams, goal setting, coaching, & developing individuals to achieve targeted results

·       A portfolio of innovative, practical and inspiring work

·       Proven ability to work independently, provide guidance and direction to help others attain their goals

·       Advanced degree in HCI, Human Factors, Interaction Design, Cognitive Psychology, Cognitive Science, or related fields

Additional Information

General Work, Physical and Travel Guidelines 
•    Incumbent must make themselves available during core business hours.
•    This position requires the incumbent to travel for work 5-10% of the time
•    This position will be performed in an office setting.  The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers, reach with hands and arms, and bend or lift up to 25 pounds.
