Job Description

Part of the global Solutions org, Visa Innovation & Design is a global client facing organization that sets Visa’s public innovation agenda, supports our clients accelerate their innovation agenda and transform their consumer digital experiences, and promotes hands on incubation and rapid prototyping to demonstrate the art of the possible for clients and partners. Innovation & Design runs innovation centers in various regional offices, this function focuses on Visa’s CEMEA region.

Job Scope
The Innovation & Design team (I&D) is looking for a talented individual to lead and support to our client Innovation Engagements (Co-creation) in CEMEA. The individual should be able to work independently on large responsibilities within critical client projects. 

Core Role: Lead, support, or co-lead Co-creation projects with Visa’s largest clients and strategic partners across CEMEA

  • Lead smaller Co-creation engagements end-to-end (from scoping, to research and client delivery in Center/Market) 
  • Work with internal stakeholders to draw down “value-in-kind” to fund engagements
  • Take leadership of project, team, and client relationship in the 6-week project cycle. 
    • Lead and inspire large and diverse teams of 15-30 client + Visa staff for 6 weeks during co-creations, providing clear vision, direction, and allocating roles based on skills, strengths and need
    • Manage junior team members assigned on project (e.g, Analyst, Designer) assigning specific tasks, defining timeline, and reviewing deliverables 
    • Coordinate support and inputs required from Visa Sales team, senior team members and Visa SMEs 
    • Coordinate with Innovation Ops team logistics of client engagements (e.g., Venue, Agenda, etc.) 
    • Facilitate co-creation and design sprints in the center
  • Lead in-market immersions to gain user insights
    • Define research (e.g., format, scope, candidate, interview guides, survey content, etc.) 
    • Manage research agencies in market as required
  • Use exceptional project management, facilitation and leadership skills to inspire the joint Visa + client / partner team to deliver their best through the six-week sprint\

  • Be equally effective running engagements in Visa’s CEMEA Innovation Centers (Dubai, Moscow) or any of the 92 markets served by the region

 

Support Role in Co-creations:

  • Support co-creation sprints, including serving as a facilitator and presenter 
  • Independently create key Co-creation deliverables such as concept summary, go-to-market, video handover etc.
  • Run in-market immersions to understand user needs, and distill insights into actionable outcomes
  • Create stimuli, insight decks and facilitation guides
  • Manage Co-creation engagement budget

 

Support Role in Innovation Engagement

  • Run Innovation Center tours and present content in client meetings and Discovery sessions
  • As needed, run Discovery sessions on a variety of topics
  • Help build Experiential assets in the center, e.g. content narratives, customized tours and demos
  • Support Innovation Center operations in areas such as reporting of engagements & client activity

Engage the business and partner ecosystem by organizing brownbags, meetups and other events

Preferred Qualifications/Experience

  • Must have demonstrated experience in running sprints that involve needs discovery, design, services design and solution development
  • Management consulting and agency experience would be a big plus
  • The ideal candidate will bring a combination of business knowledge and creativity/design skills. 
  • Must be able to work in a dynamic startup-like team environment with a diverse team
