Visa's Cyber Security team is looking for a Cyber Security Analyst who will be responsible for design, development, and execution of large-scale Cyber Security initiatives. Team leadership skills are a must. In this position, you are a passionate and talented Cyber security professional with problem-solving abilities and coding/testing/tuning skills who can work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Be part of team that design, protects and manages, security services for companies’ global security infrastructure.

• Engineer and tune the cloud security solutions including but not limited to enrollments, monitoring, alerting and maintaining defined security posture.

• Implementation, development and integration of open source security solutions like IDS , large-scape packet management systems etc

• Engage in technical design of solutions based on use cases and business requirements

• Participate in proof of concepts and other technical evaluations of technologies, designs and solutions and provide recommendations

• Stay abreast of emerging technologies and threats proactively assess and evaluate the adoption thereof into the organization

• Reduce time-to-detect and time-to-remediate by driving the automation of applied threat intelligence and sensor enrichment

• Develop and expand API framework to interconnect Security Tools

• Bachelor degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering

• At least 5+ years of total experience in Cyber security including Incident response, Engineering, Cloud architectures, Tuning etc

• At least 3+ years of experience and hands-on expertise in tuning of network sensors like IDS/IPS, DDOS, Cloud Security and/or Opensource development.

• Should have excellent communication skills ie Verbal, Written, Technical & Interpersonal skills

• Should be drive enthusiasm, security initiatives, job commitment and self-motivated to excel

• Domain expertise of network security sensors such as IDS ( Suricata), cloud security access broker , DDOS protections , Open DNS etc

• Detail understanding of Network Technologies Routers, switches, Load Balancers,firewalls, proxy etc

• Good understanding and exposure to Cloud standards, architecture and models

• Detail proficiency with Linux (or similar) operating systems

• In depth understanding of TCP/IP protocols

• Experience with PKI, SSL, SSH, HHTPS etc

• Knowledge of RESTful web services (client – server application)

• Hands on knowledge of Automation skills, Dev Ops skills etc.

• System admin - Red Hat Linux/Unix, Windows – Experience and knowledge is mandatory.

• Software development domain and principles, including design patterns, code structure, programming languages, continuous integration (Git), continuous deployment (Travis/Jenkins), and deployment orchestration (Chef, puppet, or equivalent)

• Experience with open-source software security sensors ( Bro IDS, Suricata, Snort, Molach etc)

• Experience with network protocols and deep packet inspection

• Knowledge of micro services, kubernetes, docker etc. is added advantage

• Proven experience delivering large scale , highly available security solution

• Basic Knowledge of Public Cloud such as AWS , Azure and GCP

• Relevant security certifications such as OSCP, ISC2 CISSP, SANS, CEH, etc. are a major plus
