Job Description

The Director, Delivery is responsible for the efficient and effective delivery of all internal and external stakeholder learning experiences for the region. The ideal candidate is an experienced facilitator with strong coaching and leadership experience in order to lead a team of facilitators that will deliver a diverse suite of technical, business, commercial, leadership and professional skill training programs to meet the collective learning needs of the market. Visa University is part of the Strategy organization and this role will report into the Regional Head of Learning for the AP region.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee training delivery in all key areas of the business for the AP region.
  • Lead, coach, and mentor a regional team of facilitators focused on providing consistently high quality learning experiences that improve the performance of both employee and client/commercial audiences.
  • Collaborate with the Regional Learning Consultants and College Deans to understand and prioritize market learning needs.
  • Measure and improve efficiency of delivery and utilization of facilitator resources.
  • Partner with internal production and data analyst teams to develop quality standards and implement methods to measure and improve the impact of training on the business.
  • Work cross-functionally with the Production team to collect and provide market learning feedback and to assess and address knowledge gaps.
  • Design and manage an efficient process for ensuring facilitators ongoing education and cross training to meet the evolving market needs.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in education, communication or business
  • 12+ years of experience in an HR, learning & development/training or commercial facing role in a corporate environment. Payments experience a plus.
  • 10+ years of direct people management experience
  • 5+ years of training facilitation experience
  • Strong leadership and motivational skills
  • Excellent analytical skills, decision making abilities
  • Good working knowledge of Adult Learning Principles
  • Comprehensive knowledge of and demonstrated ability to deliver learning programs using single vehicle or blended approaches, including virtual and classroom-based instructor-led training (ILT), manager-led development, experience-based development, coaching and mentoring, peer-to-peer learning and eLearning.
  • Proven ability to drive efficient and effective delivery of ILT and virtual ILT leveraging administrative and facilitation resources.
  • Strong communication (written and verbal), relationship management and influencing skills at all levels in an organization.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive innovation and change to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of learning delivery.
  • Proven ability to develop and lead a high-performing team.
