Job Description

The global Product Organization delivers the holistic product strategy for Visa and accelerates the seamless delivery of our products into markets. We are looking for looking for Managers within our Solutions Management team with varying levels of experience and background (0-5 years) to join our progressive team.

As part of the Solutions Management team , you will  design and implements the go-to-market strategy for solution sales and deployment at Visa. You and your team will be responsible for creating solution bundles relevant for your specific geography across product lines to position with Visa’s customers Your role will include aspects of consultative client engagement , product strategy, and analytics to craft solutions to meet  customer needs.

This role is to serve as a Manager, Client Solutions for Russia. The role holder must work closely with in country BDM to lead successful efforts by Visa in winning new business and delivering objectives across the Consumer & Digital Products portfolio to financial institutions. Reporting to Head of Client Solutions team, the role holder will mostly interact with banks and business development teams and be a product expert, capable of creating new propositions, selling and advising existing and potential Issuers of Visa products, both Core & Digital. The right candidate possess solid business and digital acumen, coupled with commercial instincts. This role must also be balanced by a familiarity with product management and technologies used in payments.

You will also be working with a team that  supports technical conversations and deployment with external partners, including advising on how they can work with Visa to build custom solutions that utilize their strengths to enhance Visa’s solution bundles.

•       Identify business growth opportunities from new and existing partnerships by leveraging Visa products and creating Visa solution bundles

•       Stay abreast of trends in the payments, technology, business, identifying implications for Visa’s Product & Solutions strategy and our clients businesses

•       Adopt human-centred design thinking around how Visa can improve its customer experience across Visa’s product and solutions sets

•       Work alongside a cross-functional team of Sales and Business Development to build and drive strategic business goals for Visa

•       Address product-related questions and technical challenges and improve product feature offerings by providing partner feedback to internal cross-functional teams

       As a subject matter expert on payments products, lead the development and launch of products from concept to delivery

∙       Support cross-functional teams to ensure the successful management of Visa’s core and emerging products in Russia

∙       Drive sales related to Core & Digital products

∙       Conduct desk research and Visa available tools to provide best practice materials to clients and the sales team  

∙       Provide insights and recommendations on portfolio management, including acquisition, activation, usage and retention, to help issuers identify new segment opportunities and develop product value propositions

∙       Work with issuers in the ongoing evaluation, management, synthesis and development of product line strategies, including new product platform launches

∙       Working hand-in-hand with colleagues in Digital Solutions, obtain knowledge of Digital Solutions products and be able to deliver it to clients

∙       Own digital agenda and develop solutions/ product concepts for issuers articulating Visa digital assets/products/APIs

∙       Align and cooperate with all teams in Solutions, Russia on achieving mutual business goals



∙       Higher Degree required, BA/BS degree with an aptitude and passion for technology

∙       Retail banking/financial services/payments business experience with demonstrated experience in product development  

∙       Understanding of banking operations and/or payment schemes, including products, services, processes

∙       Strong technical background in payments/banking products

∙       Strong commercial acumen with product line P&L responsibility

∙       Strong self-management skills including demonstrable drive and energy

∙       Customer-facing experience, Sales experience and proven negotiation skills

∙       Strategic and innovative thinker also capable of strong execution

∙       Multicultural sensitivity and interpersonal relationship management, including the ability to work effectively within Country, between regions and with worldwide staff

•       1-5 years of related work experience

•       Eagerness and self starting approach and an entrepreneurial mindset

•       Problem-solving, organizational, analytical, and critical thinking skills

•       Excellent written and verbal communication skills

•       Experience working in cross-functional collaborative environments

•       Knowledge or experience with Agile methodology to drive product development and delivery

•       Proven ability to take initiative and to build strong and productive relationships
