Job Description

Visa Global Loyalty & Benefits team is at the cutting edge of delivering next gen solutions that drive relevancy and customer engagement.  Whether for an issuer, merchant, or fintech, the team is not only looking to create innovative solutions that resonate with clients but also for the end consumer.  We are looking for a product manager who can deliver products in the ever-evolving field of payments.   

You will be responsible for owning the Rewards Redemption Platform – including the product vision and roadmap.  This platform allows cardholders to combine native loyalty currency with Visa acceptance. 

You will be responsible for owning pricing across all loyalty products.  This includes setting standard pricing via complex modeling as well as working through custom pricing projects.

You should possess a mix of technical strengths, financial modeling prowess, process logic, and a drive to ideate. We are looking for a pro-active product leader who can deliver on a product vision by questioning the status quo.

Responsibilities

  • Lead product strategy and features roadmap for Rewards Redemption

  • Lead pricing strategy

  • Manage documentation for product

  • Identify and deliver on relevant KPIs

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

  • 4 years of work experience with a Bachelors Degree or at least 2 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 0 years of work experience with a PhD degree

Preferred Qualifications

  •  BS in computer science, business, economics or similar field
  • 5-10 years of work experience; 2-5 years in product management

  • MBA preferred

  • High degree of proficiency in financial modeling in Excel

  • Experience working in agile environment writing technical product requirements

  • Meticulous attention to detail and consistency in task execution with an ability to learn quickly with minimal supervision.

  • Experience in working in payments industry

 

Additional Information

Essential Functions

  • Work closely with technology (engineers, project managers) and product/business teams to write product requirements.
  • Work closely with legal, privacy, risk, and compliance to ensure products adhere to various protocols and standards.
  • Establish pricing frameworks for product lines.
  • Contribute to robust business cases through complex analysis including sizing of addressable markets and establishing cost drivers.

This position will be performed in an office setting.  The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers, reach with hands and arms, and bend or lift up to 25 pounds
