Job Description

Digital & Social Media Marketing  

  • Drive digital innovation through implementing all new digital, social, mobile platforms, applications, media and trends into Visa’s marketing efforts and position Visa as a digital leader in marketing in CEMEA
  • Lead the CEMEA digital center of excellence, developing the best in class framework for all markets to implement
  • In partnership with the subject matter experts, develop the digital strategy for Visa’s core pillars of travel, ecommerce, affluent spending and everyday spend
  • Lead the management and enhancement of Visa CEMEA websites (Visa.com)
  • Collaborate cross functionally with various teams to provide best in class solutions for Visa and its partners
  • Collaborate with the sponsorship and strategic partnerships team to activate Visa’s key sponsorship assets and merchant programs
  • Jointly work with country marketing and sub-regional digital marketing leads to best leverage available platforms, tools and ad products to bolster campaign effectiveness
  • Collaborate with Visa IT to develop custom digital solutions to be used for campaigns
  • Manage relationships with agencies and solution partners such as Google and Facebook
  • Assisting the marketing leads in developing CEMEA wide campaign briefs, media plans, KPIs and metrics so that all digital activity is measurable against tangible business goals
  • Responsible for contributing to the development and execution of Visa’s CRM and data strategy to be used for effective communication
  • Working to implement Visa’s ad tech stack in the region to develop target segments and audiences
  • Ensuring budget commitments are met on all partner platforms

Visa.com

  • Lead the management and enhancement of Visa CEMEA websites
  • Manage web development and web hosting agencies, end to end including integration, billing and statement of work development
  • Work collaboratively with the business to prepare detailed briefs for new web pages, websites, microsites, projects and advise on the most cost effective efficient options
  • Lead efforts to standardize SEO and A/B testing across all CEMEA markets

CEMEA Innovation Center and Visa Developer Marketing

  • Develop branding for the Center in-line with Visa guidelines
  • Develop content for the Visa Innovation Center and Visa Developer websites
  • Formulate presentation collateral to pitch the Center and Visa Developer portal to clients
  • Provide support to the Innovation Center and Comm teams with events and launches
  • Run CEMEA wide Visa developer campaigns in partnership with the Visa Digital Solutions Team

Client Marketing Support

  • Make expertise available to local markets for visiting clients with the objective of delivering workshops and developing solutions that will enable Visa and to deepen partnerships with its clients and achieve business objectives
  • Deploy Visa’s digital assets on clients’ digital properties for key CEMEA projects

Education

  • Establish best practices/training programs for various Visa teams and agencies to drive growth of knowledge in digital marketing
  • Develop and deliver digital workshop/trainings that will enable clients to better leverage the digital domain
  • Collaborate with the global teams to share knowledge and learnings across the Visa universe

CRM and Data driven Marketing

  • Support in developing a robust automation, CRM strategy and programs/campaigns across organic and paid touch points, that work seamlessly across the organization & captures all required info in customer life cycle including various data sources integration
  • Support in the development and implementation of a robust and holistic data & audience strategy for both our direct consumers and with our client partners (banks & merchants)
  • Ensure consistency in data-driven decision making and strategy formulation for campaigns and programs
  • Leads the development and maintenance with external data partners in order to drive the most value to the business
  • Support the adtech team in enhancing Visa’s DMP by connecting various data sets and sources including 1st party (including Visa platforms such as Visa.com, VCO database, Visa transaction database etc.) and other 3rd party data sources.
  • Support in development, activation, and optimization of audience segments for all digital campaigns in CEMEA  
  • Collaborate with the insights and measurement team to analyze the business impact of the data and audience strategy and implement optimization recommendations.
  • Ensure that data strategy including CRM extends and supports Visa’s partners i.e. banks and merchants.
  • Identify emerging opportunities that the business could capitalize on and gain a competitive advantage in terms of consumer acquisition and retention in the market
  • Develop a CRM program that creates a value added service which can be leveraged across multiple functions within Visa and also as a selling proposition

Monitoring

  • Measure and analyze web analytics data to make recommendations for optimization of site content
  • Monitor media performance across geographies to build benchmarks and effectively evaluate the media performance
  • Ensure policy, style, guideline standards are met and develop and manage reviews of all content to maintain its relevance
  • Conduct social media listening exercises on relevant topics to support businesses in carrying out effective campaigns
  • Establish and track KPI metrics for digital marketing activity performance evaluation
  • Regular audits and performance reports
  • Alignment with visa’s global digital, social and mobile strategy and KPIs

  • Bachelors in marketing or a related field
  • At least 5-8 years’ experience in managing the digital presence of large brands
  • Basic operational as well as business understanding of payment / cards business and/or online payment industry
  • Experience in managing large scale content management systems
  • Demonstrated ability in SEO and Search Engine Marketing
  • Expert level experience in deploying campaigns in partnership with large advertising platforms
  • Expert level experience in using various digital ad products offered by advertising platforms
  • Experience in leveraging 1st party audiences and Data management platforms to deploy data driven marketing campaigns
  • Experience in working with IT; developing business and functional requirements for digital platforms and solutions (both mobile and web)
  • Proven track record managing agency partners and third party technical vendors
  • Proficiency in developing and deploying CRM initiatives
  • Excellent business English skills, written and spoken
