What we expect of you, day to day.

  • Within Cyber Security, Identity and Access Management (IAM) is a key technology pillar at Visa, responsible for providing secure access to misc. payment related applications and services from a variety of users (employees, businesses and customers across). To stay ahead of the rapidly changing security landscape especially with globalization of Visa's business and newer form factors of access via new devices, IOT etc., has direct impact on IAM Services.
  • This role will have the primary responsibility for the daily operations of the IAM solutions. This role will be responsible for working with the business, development, testing as well as the other BAU support teams to ensure successful operations of the IAM infrastructure.
  • As an IAM operations specialist, you will work and drive in this dynamic environment with a talented team, influencing and operating the next generation IAM technology stack at Visa. 
  • Perform in-depth analysis of IAM related incidents, including documentation of the root cause analysis, and recommendations for remediation
  • Deployment and configuration of IAM system components in a disaster recovery data centre, including planning and execution of a disaster recovery plan
  • Work in a complex environment, to maintain the performance and stability of the IAM system ensuring that service level agreements are met
  • Work closely with IT change management, Development team, and the Quality Assurance team to communicate issues and proposed solutions
  • Provide out of hours' support, upgrade patches in production, managing issues from the operational staff such as login failures, server connectivity issues etc…
  • Responding to operational emergencies and security alerts

Qualifications

What we’re after…

  • Strong understanding of operating and troubleshooting skills
  • Strong experience in management of systems at an enterprise level environment
  • Strong background in infrastructure operations and systems deployments
  • Experience with gateway solutions such as Citrix
  • Experience with Databases, Active Directory, LDAP, Unix and Windows
  • Proven experience in a support role of a platform or framework component within a highly scalable environment
  • Excellent organisational skills; able to work with a vast array of information and able to cope with rapidly changing information
  • Work with a globally distributed team of IAM team members and customers; sometimes having to provide support outside of normal business hours and on weekends
  • Basic knowledge of coding such as Java / BeanShell scripting / XML is desirable
