Job Description

The Visa Business Solutions (VBS) team has responsibility for the global P&L and product vision for Visa’s business solutions including creation of issuer and acquirer segment strategies, commercialization of new and enhanced products and services, research and thought leadership, product engagement with our issuing financial institutions and partners, and acceptance among merchant suppliers. The team serves financial institutions, partners and their downstream clients by providing payment solutions to all segments of the commercial supply chain/B2B segments.

Visa's Large and Middle Market (LMM) Commercial Product Team is part of the broader Visa Business Solutions organization and has responsibility for the North America Market

As the Sr. Director, Information Mgmt. Products, you will work with the Global Commercialization Lead and the broader Visa Business Solutions team to:

  • Develop and lead the overarching strategy to our commercial information products through a harmonized view of internal solutions, and external third parties
  • Define and execute Visa Business Solution’s information management strategy to gain consensus on approach by industry segment and vertical in collaboration with VBS Product, Data Solutions, regional teams, Partnerships teams and others across the organization
  • Work in concert with Fraedom to rationalize the existing IntelliLink Spend solution and additional platform offerings for the Large Mid-Market and jointly define a new vision for PV and Revenue growth
  • Lead high level design and delivery of Finance solutions across GL, AP, AR, Travel & Expense, FP&A, Treasury, Asset Management, 3rd Party Software Suppliers, and internal IT teams to ensure business value is delivered
  • Product development and execution will be a critical aspect of this role.  Provide definition and execution on product use cases to package products and solutions for issuers and end corporate, thereby driving B2B payment growth, and reducing friction in the commercial transaction arena. 
  • Contribute to the design of information infrastructure, and data management processes to move the organization to a more sophisticated, agile and robust target state data architecture
  • Develop and administer training to employees in the proper utilization of the Expense Management process and tool, including creation of training documentation
  • Assist in the management of various different aspects of the Purchase to Pay process as directed
  • Review and prepare for payment, all related Business Travel Accounts (BTAs) and other travel related invoices ensuring correct data

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications: 

  • 12 years of work experience with a Bachelors Degree;
  • 10 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters/MBA/JD/MD); or a minimum of 5 years of work experience with a PhD
Preferred Qualifications: 
  • 15+ years in business development, strategy, people/team leadership and development, preferably in commercial payments and B2B information reporting systems
  • 15+ years’ experience in broad commercial payments/transaction banking understanding including receivables management.  Specifically, non-card based receivables management.
  • Exceptional ability to coordinate internal and external resources to nurture cross-functional relationships (i.e. issuer, acquirer, suppliers, Visa) and drive solutions for broad payment acceptance
  • Proven leadership skills and ability to communicate with and influence executive management
  • Ability to structure, manage, and coordinate complex cross-enterprise, goal oriented, objectives with multiple stakeholders at senior levels
  • Extensive experience (10+ years) in team leadership and people development
  • Team oriented, and self- motivated, collaborative, diplomatic, and flexible. Ability to leverage appropriate mix of experience, intuition and analytics to drive decisive action and direction of team to achieve business goals and objectives and drive engagement across merchant, acquirer and issuer partners
  • Results-oriented; analytic and fact-based consultative discipline
  • Strong Finance process and IT knowledge with a proven customer first mentality
  • Strong ERP architecture understanding (technical and functional areas) - high level cloud solutions (SaaS) understanding
  • Certified in Agile development methodology
  • Demonstrated understanding of Global trends in B2B payments.  History of working in multiple geographies would be a plus
  • MBA or equivalent work experience preferred
