Job Description

This role will lead all M&A activities from due diligence to integration from an HR perspective. In addition the role will also lead key projects that have significant impact on the workforce. The key responsibilities for the role will be

  • Engaging with the M&A team and driving the transaction from due diligence to integration from an HR perspective
  • Working with key stakeholders across HR to drive the M&A process
  • Managing and controlling that the M&A project is carried out in compliance with M&A guidelines
  • Representation of the company in discussions and negotiations with target companies and client bodies – including vendors, potential partners and stakeholders.
  • Coordination of financial and operational information throughout all stages of the project up to completion or termination, plus post-implementation reviews for completed deals.
  • Working to validate key integration hypotheses and developing a robust point of view around the integration strategy
  • Owning and driving key deliverables during the transaction
  • Driving the integration from an HR perspective
  • Leading/Program managing key projects for HR which have an impact on workforce including analytical projects

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • 10 years of work experience with a Bachelors Degree; or at least 8 years of work experience with a Masters/MBA/JD/MD; or at least 5 years of work experience with a PhD

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in M&A with an HR focus
  • Strong analytical, program management and financial modeling skills
  • Proven track record of strong project management skills; managing multiple projects and meeting deadlines
  • Robust knowledge of HR practices globally
  • Good understanding of HR systems
  • Outstanding communication skills; both oral and written
  • Highly motivated, self-starter and team player; ability to build strong partnerships and influence others
 

Additional Information

Work hours: 8 hours - Regular Office hours

Travel: Position might require occasional travel for training or team meetings -

Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting.  The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers, reach with hands and arms, and bend or lift up to 25 pounds.
