What’s it all about?

You’ll proudly set and lead the talent approach in alignment with the business strategy and our global talent team. Your overarching objective will be to develop and retain our talents through inspirational career experiences;

  • Talent Advisory Council & Talent Talks: coordinate the talent board for Visa in Europe to actively manage and mobilise identified talent, through regular formalised discussions with demonstrative outcomes. Ensure that all Critical Roles and roles which require subject matter expertise are safeguarded with a strong talent pipeline. Ensure momentum continues with Talent Talks through frequent touch points with the HR Business Partners through which you will develop a matrix/cadence for succession planning by function.

  • Talent Reviews: be the European conduit between the Global Talent team and the HR Business Partners to ensure an effective submission for VP and SVP talent reviews, ensuring also that the views and intelligence from the Exec TA Leads are incorporated.

  • Blaze your own Trail & Make Your Mark are key talent campaigns empowering individuals to take the lead on their career and leadership development: build out the calendar with monthly moments to keep the campaigns alive with compelling, enticing and different  opportunities. Ensure a strong partnership with Employee Communications colleagues.

  • Go Shares are Visa’s internal solution to externships providing employees growth experiences in new areas. The programme has untapped potential to excite, develop and retain our employees so the Talent Partner will be key to finding the best-fit platform to ensure its success and then marketing the programme internally for maximum impact.

  • Global Mobility: in partnership with Global Mobility colleagues you will seek to improve the process of repatriation of our expats to ensure employees and their leaders consider the experience as being a smooth, truly satisfying and successful.

  • Roll out an Artificial Intelligence based internal mobility/career development tool – partner with the global team and drive the pilot in Europe.

  • Devour external insights and make time to build networks for Visa in order to bring new solutions to drive the talent management agenda.

  • Support the global team on global projects as the talent management offering builds out.
