Job Description

The North America Go to Market and Solutions organization is seeking a Senior Manager to join the mission of engaging and fostering client relationships to achieve the successful deployment of Visa’s risk and identity products within a client.  The candidate will identify and develop new business opportunities and lead the successful project management and delivery of identity and risk solutions in the payments environment. The Senior Manager use their product marketing and technically savvy to lead deployments of products and solutions in a client environment. In order to be successful in this role, this candidate has demonstrated ability to influence and consult while providing thought leadership in solving loss prevention and/or business process problems.  Strong interpersonal skills, and a client-centric attitude is key as are excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) with strong presentation and facilitation skills.

Principal Responsibilities:

Using consultative skills and understanding of technology, explain how Visa risk and identity products address a client’s requirements and objectives.

Become a trusted advisor and subject matter expert for risk and identity products across the organization and within a client’s environment.

Negotiate, execute and manage customer contract agreement process, ensuring linkage of resources and information sharing.

Elevate, deepen and broaden client C-Level relationships with a focus on consultation that drives Visa risk and identity product adoption.

Build and leverage relationships with internal network to efficiently execute against sales plans.

Operate as a client conduit to other Visa fraud and risk teams and resources as required.

Qualifications

  • Basic Qualifications

  • Minimum of Bachelor’s degree or 5+ years of experience in payments, fraud, digital security, operations, return on investment, cost/benefit assessment, or a combination of these.

 

  • Preferred Qualifications

  • A degree or equivalent, preferably in Information Technology and a proven background in consulting and project management

  • Minimum of 5 years of proven success in account management/sales

  • Understanding of fraud, digital  security, fraud risk solutions, and use cases

  • Demonstrated ability to influence or coach others

  • Highly client-focused, self-starter and results driven

  • Strong presentation/negotiation skills and the ability to build rapport and credibility

  • Proven success of influencing and collaborating with C-level decision makers

Additional Information

 

  • Essential Functions

  • Earn trust with and support the sales organization to develop strong client relationships that drive Visa identity and risk product adoption.

  • Lead identity and risk product evangelism efforts to help raise awareness across the company and influencer communities.

  • Serve as a client advocate across the organization to convey client feedback as input to product and solutions roadmaps.

  • Provide subject matter expertise for all risk and identity products and product marketing strategies, to ensure consistent messaging and ongoing education.

  • Ensure that all appropriate product and marketing information is communicated in a timely manner to customer, sales teams and other internal groups.

  • Deliver product messaging that is consistent across all marketing vehicles, internal and external; lead, develop and implementation of training programs to drive messaging awareness.

  • Participate in various company initiatives and projects as requested.

  • Team player - effectively integrate, motivate and build relationships with cross-functional team members, stakeholders, executives, and other individuals.

  • Participate in requirements prioritization, while tracking and balancing time-to-market to deliver the optimal business impact.

Work Hours

Incumbent must make themselves available during core business hours.

Travel Requirements

This position requires the incumbent to travel for work  30-35% of the time.

Mental/Physical Requirements

This position will be performed in an office setting.  The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers, reach with hands and arms, and bend or lift up to 25 pounds
