Notice of Positions Availability at Visa Technology & Operations LLC

 

POSITION:  Sr. SW Test Engineers

 

Responsible for test planning and test strategy development using industry best practice. The candidate will work in Billing and Incentives Team and will focus on testing and test automation of our Revenue and Billing Applications built on ORMB & OUAF platform. Will develop test automation of test plans, scenarios, scripts, and managing test artifacts/deliverables.  Develop plans, schedules, metrics, data needs, and scenarios for end-to-end integration testing – including areas such as database impacts, software scenarios, or usability.  Perform quality assurance testing inclusive of unit, systems, integration and regression testing, and supporting the development of automated test scripts used to automate regression testing.  Manage QA environments, and perform application deployment and troubleshooting.  Work with project managers to provide QA estimates, schedule planning and status updates.  Support agile ceremonies:  sprint planning, daily stand ups, sprint review, and sprint retrospective.  Provide technical insights to support release planning, including user stories breakdown, tasks assignments, and backlog grooming, through elicitation and clarification of user stories and requirements with business stakeholders and communication of IT dependencies.  Log software defects in the Visa standard defect tracking tool (JIRA/ClearQuest) and work with development teams on defect resolution.  Participate in design reviews to provide input on functional requirements, product designs, schedules, or potential problems.  Participate in code reviews with team members.  Provide support to User Acceptance Testing teams in terms of data set up and support activities.  Perform walkthrough of QA test results with finance business partners.  Develop new tools and processes to ensure quality goals are met.  Work collaboratively with other QA teams for integration testing activities.  No direct reports, and no managerial duties, or responsibilities.  Individual contributor level position.

 

Employer will accept Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, or related technical field, and five years of work experience in job offered, or in a computer-related occupation.  Employer will accept 3 or 4 year bachelor’s degrees*.

SALARY:       $107,625 - $ 127,625 / year
