What’s it all about?

The Product & Market Manager will develop Core Products, capturing and delivering client needs and leveraging Visa assets. In carrying out this role, the jobholder will need to develop many key stakeholder touchpoints, including Hub Product Teams, Innovation, Strategy, IT, Brand and Regulatory teams.

What we expect of you, day to day.

  • Support development and execution of the Core Product Strategy in Italy.
  • Re-define product propositions:
    • Understand product requirements for Italian clients and market specific context (players, technology, consumer habits, etc.).
    • Leverage and understand technology to develop the products: EMV specs, APIs, token, ISO messaging, etc.
    • Capacity to adapt the previous and Visa capabilities to develop propositions e.g. loyalty, lending, mobile usage, etc.
    • Develop business cases, understanding opportunities for Visa and clients.
    • Familiar and comfortable with data analytics.
  • Demonstrate thought leadership, allowing us to engage with a variety of stakeholders across the ecosystem to explore opportunities that will deliver a better quality offering for our Clients.
  • Act as the Subject Matter Expert/ Product lead in rollout of new benefits and features with issuing clients and across Italy.

Qualifications

What we’re after…

  • Insight into one or more of the following topics: APIs, token, EMV, mobile banking platforms, ISO messaging, etc.
  • Strong analytical, problem solving and project management skills.
  • Hands-on, entrepreneurial and nimble, while also able to navigate a globally matrixed environment
  • Highly adept commercial business acumen; ability to understand Visa and client P&Ls
  • Understanding of the impact of current and future Regulatory changes on both Visa and our competitors, such as Domestic Schemes, and Technological developments, and ability to deliver actionable plans.
  • Strong team player; flexible individual, capable of dealing with ambiguity within a rapidly changing environment.
  • Be educated to degree level or hold an equivalent professional qualification.
  • Italian and English language speakers.

Desirable criteria:

  • Experience in ideating consumer journey and capable of illustrating via prototyping solutions.
  • GBI/Visa Analytics Platform  user; experience in leveraging Visa data to provide insight and rationalise product propositions, rules, etc.
