What’s it all about?

As the digital economy becomes an integral part of our daily lives, the ability to deliver secure and consumer friendly payments is increasingly important to help underpin the growth and innovation in digital commerce.  However as digital commerce grows, so does fraud and Visa is at the forefront of developing and delivering leading risk solutions to protect our cardholders, merchants and financial institutions so transactions are easy, fast and secure.

The UK&I product team are looking for a team player to help lead the way in market and ensure Visa is at the forefront of the wave of change.  The role will involve taking responsibility for product adoption in the UK&I of Visa’s Identity & Risk products, with a focus on Customer Authentication (VCAS) as well as Advanced Authorisation and Risk Management products. The Solutions Manager will be part of the UK&I product team working closely with Proposition Leads and Sales to evaluate potential opportunities, and work with clients directly to achieve market adoption.  As a solutions expert, the role will require a good understanding of payments, a strong interest in the field of fraud, risk and authentication and ideally a working knowledge of the 3D Secure framework.

What we expect of you, day to day.

  • You will be accountable for supporting the Proposition Leads and Sales in delivering sales targets and ensure P&L is achieved as per objectives
  • You will work with the team to establish key measures and annual revenue targets, to ensure results are delivered and progress tracked
  • You will develop a market strategy and plan to drive adoption of Identity & Risk products in the UK&I
  • You will build and manage actionable dashboards using business performance metrics (KPI’s) that will be shared with senior leaders in the organisation
  • You will support the ongoing sales process by creating Product performance MI each month and on an ad hoc basis
  • You will work with the European Product owners to ensure excellence of service to deliver the pipeline: product requirements are met, sales collateral is fit for purpose etc.
  • You will also be expected to take client feedback on board and provide recommendations for product and service improvement into the European Product team
  • You will serve as a subject matter to clients and internal stakeholders and provide product training as needed within the UK&I
  • You will develop an in depth understanding of PSD2 regulation and how it affects authentication in Europe and communicate the benefits of Visa Identity & Risk products in helping clients deliver optimised e-commerce payment solutions
  • You will serve as primary point of contact for Identity and Risk products in the cluster, including organising and presenting at events (internal and external)
  • Everyone is a leader at Visa, and you will provide guidance to global and European product owners on issues that help to localise products in the UK&I (e.g., pricing, product features, sales enablement tools, competitor’s products, etc.), sharing your subject matter expertise
