We are looking for a technology leader in Merchant and Acquirer Processing (MAP) Payments team in Visa Bangalore

As a Senior Staff Software Engineer, you will be technically leading our Payments Solutions team to help design, enhance and build our real-time payments transaction system in an agile development environment. You will lead teams in building Container based REST API and services that are highly functional, distributed, secure, scalable and resilient.

We expect you to spearhead technological transformation. You should be fully aware of the emerging technology trends in the industry, and take initiative to apply them in our product suite.

You will see the system you built being used by huge customer base including Apple, Facebook, Nike , Emirates etc. If this sounds exciting, we would love to chat and tell you more about our work culture and environment.

Academic : 

•Bachelor or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field 

•Patents and Disclosures in the field of computing is desirable.

Technical Qualification :

•Relevant Industry experience of 7 to 10 years.

•Must have designed, architected and technically led projects in product development organization

•Expertise in Java,J2EE, Spring, Web Services, REST, SOAP.

•Expertise in RDBMS as well as NoSQL database

•Very good understanding of Cloud, SAAS

•Very good understanding of Kafka, Hazelcast or similar tools/technologies

•Experience with Containers, Dockers, Virtualization  and Microservices

•Solid understanding of Data Structures, Algorithms & Design Patterns.

•Leadership Experience in building highly scalable, high performant system

•Experience with Disaster Recovery and fault tolerance

•Experience with batching and streaming technologies

•Experience in CI/CD process – familiarity with Maven, Jenkins, Chef, Git

•Experience deployment, debugging and maintenance in production

•Strong understanding of Web security and cryptography

•Familiarity with Scrum and agile process

Non technical :

•Ability to mentor and lead engineers

•Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

•Must have good leadership skill.
