What’s it all about?
A new role has been created to support the Continental Europe Leadership Team to set and meet their goals. It will provide you a chance to see the priorities and full range of work in Continental Europe and be a critical member of the commercial office of the Managing Director
This role will report to the Head of Business Performance and:
•    Support Continental Europe planning and business operations
•    Collaborate with sales and functions to achieve objectives
•    Drive execution and follow-through through better governance and tools such as scorecards
What we expect of you, day to day.
•    Business Performance support
o    Strategy planning and delivery
o    Business Operations
o    Setting goals, scorecards and their governance by Cluster & function
o    Supporting European initiatives
•    Business Operations support
o    Working with Finance, BPO, Strategy & planning and other functions to prepare budgets and financial plans
o    Helping analyze, review and approve procurement requests, client events, regional events and other decisions on behalf of the Managing Director, Continental Europe
o    Planning, compiling and creating content for management meetings
o    Planning the set, sequence, goals, attendance and schedule of management meetings
o    Identifying operational efficiencies and how to improve them
•    Sales Operations collaboration
o    Coordinating with Sales Operations on client events, client and Cluster communications
•    Cross-functional communications
o    Helping manage demands from other functions of Business Performance, Business Planning and Operations, Sales Operations and the markets
o    Stand in for other members of the Business Performance team on Committee, as needed
o    Build strong relationships with other functions, Clusters and Business Planning and Operations peers in other countries

Qualifications
•    Experience in payments, its products, services and technologies
•    Degree from a demanding University program in any field that shows rigorous quantitative and qualitative reasoning and communications
•    May have been a top performer in the first 1-2 roles after graduation and looking to apply those skills in a global, high-growth company with one of the world’s strongest brands
•    Knowledge of a European language 
•    Deep knowledge of the payments ecosystems of the several European markets
•    Strong understanding of the payments economics, pricing components and revenue drivers
•    Proven track record of working on the issuer FinTech programmes
•    Knowledge of the cross-border payment corridors and economic drivers 
•    Intelligence about Visa’s competitive position and main client relationships
