Job Description

As Senior Director, Visa Business Solutions, you will be part of the Visa Data Solutions team, providing payment and value added services to businesses, corporations and governments. In this role, you will be responsible for data strategy, integration with products and solutions and go-to market, working with other team members to contribute to the overall data strategy and vision. The role will also focus on working with other stakeholders like regional Product teams and Issuers to ensure the VBS data strategy is in line with market needs. Interaction with cross-functional groups within Visa, IT teams, Issuers, and third parties will be a key part of this role. 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Collaborate with Visa Business Solutions (VBS) team members globally to maintain a deep understanding of the commercial data strategies, priorities and market needs
  • Utilize in depth knowledge of the data platform to identify solutions with partners consistent with the needs of all VBS clients globally
  • Perform build/buy analysis for required capabilities to determine the best in class solution while considering cost, speed to market and impact to Issuers and clients
  • Responsible for VBS Data Strategy, Integration of products and solutions and Go-to-market
  • Responsible for collecting, validating business requirements and managing the integration roadmap
  • Communication of business requirements to internal stakeholders and partners to assist with arriving at the best possible solutions.
  • Create use cases to validate that delivered functionality meets business expectations
  • Provide core product documentation and guidance to other teams, which produce marketing, implementation, training, and support materials
  • Support marketing, sales, partnerships, implementation, and support teams in their relationships with financial institution issuers and end corporate clients as business product representative as required
  • Ability to interact with senior management to communicate data strategy and demonstrate alignment with overall VBS strategy and growth of VBS
  • Regularly test that the existing data strategy fits the global VBS needs and be flexible to modify as required.
  • Maintain close working relationships with all VBS Product teams and stakeholders

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

12 years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree; 10 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters/MBA/JD/MD); or a minimum of 5 years of work experience with a PhD.

 Preferred Qualifications:

  • The role requires strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with others in cross-functional teams to implement and assess the operational impact of changes to processes/procedures
  • Experience working with Banks, Finance or FinTech industry
  • Experience with Data Strategy, Solutions and Product Integration
  • Experience with Go-to Market Strategy and Execution
  • Must demonstrate well-developed organizational and communication skills
  • Must have experience in presenting and communicating complex/detailed topics to clients
  • Collaborates easily and successfully with all levels of management in a matrix organization structure
  • Operates with minimal supervision and able to make informed, well-reasoned decisions independently
  • Ability to perform financial analysis and business cases for bespoke pricing and/or new products is a plus
  • Demonstrated expertise/power user in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Access, and Word)
  • Strong understanding of commercial card industry is a big plus.
  • Understanding of current technology trends in the data industry is preferred
