Job Description

The Consumer Products Team is responsible for managing all products and services targeted to consumer clients. Products can vary by its payment functionality - credit or debit – and by its variant (e.g. Visa Classic, Visa Gold, Visa Platinum, Visa Infinite, Visa Electron), according to the target consumer.

All products offer a broad range of services and features, and their management is also handled by the Consumer Products Team.

Local Team manages a close relationship with Regional and Global product teams, with internal areas such as business development, marketing, finance, legal and strategy, and with all issuing banks, acquirers and strategic partners in the electronic payments industry.

This position role is to support the team members in their daily activities.

  • Support Product Managers in their activities, assisting them in the execution of all initiatives related to their strategic plans (e.g. portfolio analysis, product upgrades, products/services implementations, communication efforts with banks, products & features management, life cycle management, among others)
  • Provide Consumer Products team with information (MIS and Life Cycle Management reports) to ensure support of initiatives
  • Monitor market and competitors in order to identify trends, best practices and opportunities
  • Provide periodic financial and performance reports to product managers and Senior Management
  • Support the development of product / client scorecards
  • Support the preparation of product/project presentations
  • Assist in the relationship with issuers, acquirers, partners and vendors
  • Control Products team budget as a whole, working with Finance/ Marketing/ Product managers to guarantee effectively control of investments and also being responsible for forecasts and AOP planning of Country Products budget  
  • Support ad-hoc requests for data, reports and analysis.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree with minimum of 3 years of relevant experience
  • Advanced spreadsheet modeling skills
  • Extensive knowledge of Excel, Power Point
  • Proficiency in English (spoken and written), Spanish is a plus
  • Presentation skills (written)
  • Strong interpersonal skills (ability to interact with several teams simultaneously);
  • Strong analytical skills (ability to identify trends, forecast, etc.)
  • Credit Card, Financial Services or Banking industry background is a plus

Physical Requirements:

This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers, reach with hands and arms, and bend or lift up to 25 pounds.
