Job Description

Position Summary

Responsible for leading and managing a portfolio and pipeline of high value strategic co-brand opportunities across the Asia Pacific region from strategy development to opportunity implementation.

The role will focus on opportunities where there is limited short term co-brand business opening, and utilising a holistic multifaceted 360-degree Visa value approach will unlock the co-brand opportunity in the medium to long term.

This will be done via new business development targeting competitive take-overs and opening of De Novo opportunities for high value co-brands collaborating with a virtual cross functional teams to ensure success over the long term.

Responsibilities

  • Accountable for the design of named key strategic co-brand opportunity approach and project plan.
  • Full opportunity accountability collaborating with key in market teams, along with global and regional counterparts to ensure exceptional delivery to agreed approach plan.
  • Collaboration with senior in market key stakeholders
  • Own and develop a pipeline of key strategic co-brand opportunities for business development
  • Lead negotiations with Co-brand partners that reflect the strategic nature of Co-brand relationship to ensure Visa is positioned the network partner of choice
  • Unique Visa solution development for key opportunities and partners
  • Support the expansion of new partnerships through the cross selling of non-co-brand Visa products and services in relationship to the co-brand opportunity
  • Demonstrated experience interacting with “C level” executives within client organizations.
  • Proven ability to develop and leverage external and cross-functional relationships.
  • Proven ability negotiating business agreements and ability to develop new business partnerships.
  • Ability to work independently and in collaboration with high level of success/achievement.
  • Consulting experience, consumer loyalty management and/or coalition loyalty experience desired.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Fluent in English
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.  Experience with the Salesfoce.com platform is a preferred
     

 

 

 

Qualifications

  • Extensive payments industry expertise (issuer, merchant or network) with a minimum of 12 years’ business experience with related management experience.
  • Deep Co-brand experience, fluent in Co-brand business development and program management best practices along with implications for issuers, networks and merchants.
  • Co-brand issuer and/or merchant experience managing a co brand portfolio P&L; preferably across a variety of AP markets and relevant industries such as airline, retail and ecommerce.
  • Critical thinker who can solve complex problems in unique and differentiated ways
  • Deep knowledge of payment economics, financial controls and legal impacts of contract management. 
  • Proven record of accomplishment of successful sales and relationship management with experience developing and managing a pipeline of initiatives and driving commercial results.
  • Demonstrated experience interacting with “C level” executives within client organizations.
  • Proven ability to develop and leverage external and cross-functional relationships.
