Job Description

  • Design and develop highly polished, creative and engaging learning experiences utilizing human centered design/Agile techniques and methodology
  • Develop for global target audiences across different organizational levels, geographies, time zones and cultures
  • Collaborate with team members and business partners to define and scope learning elements and experiences
  • Work towards firm deadlines in partnership with other learning professionals and/or stakeholders; effectively communicate relevant project information to stakeholders
  • Follow marketing, corporate identity and brand style guidelines while maintaining creativity
  • Work fast, be efficient in scoping projects, ask the right questions and consult with stakeholders
  • May develop complex rich-media projects that require scripting and coding
  • Mentors and advises junior learning experience producers on the team
  • Work with and manage external vendors on outsourced projects

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:  

4 years of instructional design work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or at least 2 years of instructional design work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters, Ph.D.). 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 7-10 years of instructional design work experience and a Bachelor’s Degree or 6 years of instructional design work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, Ph.D.)
  • Software engineering background is a plus
  • Aptitude for technical subject matter
  • Has strong portfolio showcasing learning experience design and production in a variety of modality - mobile, social, elearning, performance support, game, ILT, VILT, etc.
  • Demonstrated ability to implement new and emerging media and design technologies
  • Experience with graphical user interface design is preferred
  • Experience designing for a variety of learning experiences, subject matter areas and audiences
  • Experience with human centered design, design thinking and Agile 
  • Ability to quickly establish strong relationship with stakeholders
  • Able to translate concepts and ideas into engaging learning deliverables
