Job Description

Real-time Push Payments at Visa is currently comprised of Visa Direct and Scan to Pay product sets as well as underlying Visa enterprise services.  Visa Direct is a payment service that Visa provides to clients (issuers, acquirers, processors, merchants and service providers etc.) to facilitate fund transfers/disbursements to Visa accounts around the world using push payment technology.  Scan to Pay leverages all Visa Direct capabilities and includes a customer-facing interface which may be deployed through a variety of relationships (e.g., financial institution partner, FinTech, etc…)  Together Visa Direct and Scan to Pay are positioned to serve both developed and emerging markets covering more than $80 trillion in payments volume globally. 

Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the Visa Direct product team to assist in commercialization activities related to the Visa Direct cross-border service.
  • Work with stakeholders across Visa Direct regions and functions (Product, sales, strategy, ops, finance, technology) to help create market development plans, product education and launch materials and perform other product management activities. 
  • Develop materials to enable Visa partners including originators, acquirers and processors
  • Assist with communication efforts related to global OCT acceptance initiatives.
  • Create materials to communicate priorities, activities, and results to the larger organization including senior executives.
  • Assist the cross-border product team with project management efforts on an as needed basis.

TRAVEL REQUIREMENT :  This position requires the incumbent to travel for work up to 20% of the time.

Qualifications

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

10 years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or at least 8 years of work experience with a Masters/MBA/JD/MD or at least 5 years of work experience with a PhD

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • 7+ years of experience in product management, ideally in financial services
  • A proven track record of success in fast-paced environments with demanding timelines.
  • End-to-end product management experience from requirements development to product launch, managing enhancements and product training.
  • Outstanding visual communication skills, i.e. expertise in communicating complex ideas in a visually appealing format.
  • Demonstrated expertise in Microsoft PowerPoint and Microsoft Excel.
  • Ability to prioritize and work on multiple concurrent projects to success.
  • Ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams
  • Strong analytical capabilities and attention to detail.
  • Creative thinker with good problem solving skills and a passion for excellence.

Visa and financial/payment industry knowledge as well as some product background in remittances is a plus.

Physical Requirements

This position will be performed in an office setting.  The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers, reach with hands and arms, and bend or lift up to 25 pound
