Visa Consulting and Analytics (VC&A) drives tangible, impactful and financial results for Visa’s clients, including both financial institutions and merchants.

The South Eastern Europe (SEE) Consulting Practice within VC&A provides consulting and solution services for Visa’s issuers, acquirers and merchants in the region. We apply our deep expertise in the payments industry to provide solutions to assist clients with their key business priorities drive growth and improve profitability.

The team is looking for a Fixed Term Consultant to join our consulting practice and play a key role delivering a high impact project for one of Visa’s key clients. The role reports to the Visa Europe SEE VC&A team and the Fixed Term Consultant will work towards achieving project goals by managing key activities for one of our strategic clients.

Job Description

What we expect of you day to day...

The consultant will be primarily responsible for Credit Growth initiatives with the client's portfolio

  • Key member of CRM analytics team responsible for managing and protecting the portfolio in coordination with Credit Risk Management team

  • Optimization of approval rates for underwriting, analysis of performance of new accounts, liasing and challenging Risk teams to prevent unnecessary prudence in terms of Risk parameters

  • Identifying and suggesting improvements in terms of Limit Management to ensure client cards remain top-of-wallet in terms of limit / utilization against competition

 

Qualifications

What we're after...

  • Educated to Bachelor's degree (Economics, enginerring, analytics, business related fields) 

  • Previous banking and/or consulting experience (preferably client-facing experience in strategy or management consulting firms)

  • Knowledge and understanding of banking operations and payments space, including products & services, business systems and processes and marketing initiatives 

  • Self-starter and attention to detail

  • Ability to liaise with multiple stakeholders at various levels within the business

  • Commercial Acumen – being able to spot an opportunity and drive value for Visa and the Client

  • Excellent presentation and communication skills (written and verbal) including an ability to comprehend and convey complex technical information

  • Excellent report writing skills (ability to tell a simple ‘story’ involving complex issues)

  • Experience working with financial indicators to measure business performance with a focus on impacting ROI

  • Ability to solve business problems through data driven methodologies

  • Technology mindset, curious, up-to-date with digital trends, fintechs and applications

  • Fluent in written and spoken English
