Job Description

The Product Intern will be a member of the Visa DPS Product team and will be responsible for assisting Directors and Product Managers with product work. The Intern will be assisting with the Debit Core payment transaction processing and authorization related services.

The Product intern responsibilities include:  

  • Research, reporting, process documentation, product usage analytics and all aspects of project management work.  
  • This position requires the ability to apply analytical and critical thinking skills to assist in solving business problems, and to recommend solutions to improve processes and drive continuous improvements in the product lines supported.  

This position will be based in Highlands Ranch, Colorado.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

  • Must have a High School diploma or equivalent
  • Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree, graduating Dec. 2020 or later

Preferred Qualifications

  • 1 or more years of work experience
  • Candidate must be working towards their BA or BS in: Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, or Business Administration with an emphasis in technology strategy.
  • Strong work ethic; eager to contribute to the team’s success
  • Strong desire and aptitude to work hands-on with data and analytics
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Creative spark in working innovatively with long-established systems and processes
  • Team player who is able to work independently with general supervision

Additional Information

Work Authorization: Authorization to work in the U.S. is a precondition of employment for this position. Visa will not sponsor applicants for work visas in connection with this position.

Work Hours: This position requires the incumbent to be available during core business hours.

Travel Requirements: This position requires the incumbent to travel for work up to 5% of the time.

Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting.  The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers, and reach with hands and arms.
