Job Description

You will be the part of the Enterprise Transformation team, reporting to the Sr. Director, Global Product Delivery and will drive operational reporting and analysis for the Product organization as part of Product Delivery’s Business Strategy & Operations team. The team, in collaboration with the Product and Technology organizations, ensures that Visa invests in the most strategic initiatives that solve customer needs.

We are looking for people who would be passionate about Enterprise Transformation and enjoys digging into the numbers in an effort to drive operational performance, both globally and regionally, in a complex, matrixed environment. You should be well versed with agile methodology and have prior experience in change management.

The ideal candidate will be a self-motivated, highly collaborative team player who is proactive at identifying and resolving issues. This individual contributor position is based out of our San Francisco or Foster City, CA office

Essential Functions:

How you will make an impact:

  • Communicate and coordinate overall transformation strategy and roadmap across cross-functional stakeholders including CS, Marketing, Technology, and Regional product teams.
  • Drive transformation across the all of the product organization
  • Collaborate with corporate and regional product and partner leads to help define, develop and articulate the transformation business metrics
  • Deliver reporting & analysis including executive reporting, scorecards, product pipeline performance, and other ad hoc reports
  • Lead the way in improving how we collect and deliver data. including scorecard automation or creating dashboards to enable self-service reporting
  • Reinforce adherence to metric definitions and data sources across all teams and regions
  • Maintain data integrity and become the single point of truth for our executive scorecards, reporting and dashboards
  • Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders
  • Identify grounded opportunities for strategic, operational, and organizational improvements
  • Translate business concepts and ideas into an accurate, error checked model (e.g. in Excel)
  • Conduct end-to-end analysis that includes data gathering, processing, analysis, ongoing deliverables, and presentations
  • Demonstrates basic knowledge of problem solving methods to inform data analysis approach
  • Breaks down most problems into fundamental parts in a systemic way

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

  • 4 years of work experience with a Bachelor’s degree or at least 2 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree from accredited university or 0 years of work experience with a Ph.D. degree.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 7-10 years of work experience and a Bachelor’s Degree or 6 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 3 years of experience with a PhD.
  • Experience in working with Agile environment
  • Ability to operate in a highly matrixed environment.
  • Experience in finance, analytics, measurement, or related quantitative field
  • Ability to develop information portal using Microsoft, Atlassian or Broadcom Tools
  • Undergraduate degree required, MBA preferred.
  • External or Internal consultative experience.
  • Ability to analyze the market in terms of future profit pools, payment volume growth, pricing opportunities, competitor threats etc.
  • Transformation experience strongly preferred.
  • Driving consensus, decisions and results through influencing would be key to success.
  • Strong teamwork and relationship-building skills.
  • Understanding of the payment industry preferred but not required.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • Experience with Tableau or similar data visualization tools
  • Extreme attention to detail and ownership of work product
  • Ability to work effectively with a diverse team and produce time sensitive deliverables

Physical Requirements

  • This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers, reach with hands and arms, and bend or lift up to 25 pounds.

  • Less than 10% travel required
